Quote:My also arrive on three different dates, and those dates change every month. I still cant work out if I received my February tokens or not.It is still messed up. I get my token, paragon points and transfer all on separate dates each month. It is unpredictable. They don't care about this as a get what you pay for when you pay for issue, as long as you get it during the month you should be happy.
That is a bloody brilliant attitude to take Paragon.. BLOODY BRILLIANT!
I also don't think the responsibility should be place back on the individual player to check. Which such a apparent high number of people identifying problems they should do an audit of all accounts and fix the issues. While it may be almost impossible for many players to check as they do not have access to a complete history of all the transactions. It should be fairly simple for NCSoft to do an audit on all accounts to identify those that don't add up.
Do they expect every single player to submit a petition? I'm guessing that the vast majority of those with this issue won't even know they have a issue. -
Good investigation work Plasma, hopefully it will go some way to enable many of us (I stop recieving the newsletters ages ago) to receive them again.

I sat down yesterday to tried and work out the history of my two accounts to see what my current number of tokens and pp should be. It is an almost impossible task without a full micro transaction history. I wish it was more like most other companies where you get an email copy of every purchase when you make it.
But anyway, the best figures I could work out (based on memory of what's been purchased etc) was that one account had exactly the right amount of PP, while the other seem to be missing around 1000pp (maybe it was some impulse buys that I've forgotten about). For the tokens I fairly sure one of my accounts is missing four, however my other account seems to have four more then it should, so I won't complain
The main thing that Ive noticed is that the date my pp gets awarded seems to be pushed back a week every month. It use to be right a start of the month, then got pushed back each month until the last was received yesterday (last day of the month). Doesnt that in affect mean that Im missing out on almost a full months of points? It definitely will be if next month the date is pushed back another week. -
The one thing that I find the most helpful is to make the default (bottom) chat tab only shows tells, group and league chat (and maybe requests as some raid leaders like using that to stand out).
I also include some of the better known global channels, but not the ones that have a lot of just general chat going on. For each global channel that I monitor for getting on leagues, groups etc I make a separate chat tab.
So unless there is a lot of general chat going on within the league/group I normally don't miss anything important. But everyone has to realised that it's very easy for people to miss stuff, you can't play the game and keep your eyes glue to the chat tab all the time. And offcourse not everyone has English as their first language, some may be very young kids, have their focus temporary on something else etc etc.
My personal pet peeve is when a league leader makes it clear that he/she is about to advise each step of a trail for any new players and others (normally the experience players who already know the steps) keep typing general crap in /league, or worst think they are been funny but saying do things that you shouldn't. -
On this subject, Is there any way to get a longer listing of the Microtransactions section in the billing summary page? With the Last 90 days only showing it's makes it hard to check anything.
I'm was hoping there is somewhere where you can get a full listing. -
Started to play the game again over the weekend after a bit of a break.
I received 9 tips on my villain, 4 of them were for the hero side, 1 was in a Resistance only area and 2 told me to deliver to pocket D. -

I'll love to see a Redname actually tell us what the total is, just to see how close FourSpeed came to it. I'm not quite sure how good their datamining tools are, but I'm guessing it will be farily easy to do.
And just mentioning the total amount souldn't have any impact on anything (both marketing within and outside of the game) as we still won't know the total number of accounts.
Maybe just a "Close" or "No where near it" answer would be good to see. -
I've never been able to work out when I should get either the token or points. I have assumed however that in the end I would get them when they fix all the problems, without having to petition each month.
I would hate to think that this is a wrong assumption and I have to put in individual petitions for known problems. -
I agree, with point 2 what I meant was that many that have already responded to this thread have a second account, I thought that was obvious when I posted it, but now that I reread it I can see that I didn't make that clear.

The fact that there is such a low comparative percentage of "E"s suggests one of two things.
1. Your 2nd and 3rd etc billion are a lot easier to make then your 1st.
2. Many people have their majority of Inf on one account with a "minor" amount on their secondary accounts (which are also included in these figures).
Personally, I think both of the above statement would likely be true. -
Quote:If I had to make a list it would very similar to Kyriani's, only change would with item 2, where I must admit that I often increase, the never to the max.I tend to adjust scales quite a bit but:
1) I never go higher than 6'2"ish in height male or female
2) I rarely if ever make boobs bigger than the default
3) I often increase the waist size of females and occasionally do so for males.
4) I often scale down male bulkiness a little bit in both muscle mass and chest size.
5) I tend to widen the hips of both males and females
6) I try to incorporate at least 3 colors into every costume
7) I am not a fan of helms or hats. I like hair
8) I am iffy on using capes. Sometimes they work for a concept sometimes not.
9) I use skin baring options almost always male or female. Not only because I like a little "sexy" in my costumes but also because it adds another color to the overall character palette.
10) Like Houtex I almost always use high heels/thigh highs/other narrow heeled boots for females. I dont like blocky big feet on females. The one exception that not only looks decent but because it works for the concept are the rocket boots I use on one of my female characters.
With item 6, I like to have two main colours with a small amount of a third colour (belt, shoes, gloves etc).
More than once I have created a new character, got to the costume section, designed a good costume that I really like, then gone back and changed the powers to match the costume.
More often than not, what name I end up using has more to do with the (original) costume then the powers. Which does mean that often the options for the other costume slots can be somewhat limited for these characters. -
Some of my toons are also locked because of changes they have made have resulted in the original costumes been shown incorrect. Like skirts twisted around 180 degrees, tops on back the front, invisible weapons etc.
The few toons that this has happen to me I have kept (I just don't attempt to alter that costume slot), a couple of them actually look quite good with the incorrect graphics.
What I'm not quite sure about is if other players see the incorrect graphics the same way I do, or if they look correct for them. -
Main account would be bottom end of "D".
2nd account would be top end of "F". -
I can't belive it's not fixed yet, it's not as if can be that difficult as it was working fine prior to issue 20 (I think it was issue 20 that broke it, not sure). I also think I read somewhere that one of the programmers changed a single value in the physics code the wrong way. Which if true they could change it back in a couple of seconds.
It's the number one thing that puts me off playing the game at the moment. -
They have never worked for me and because the discount (in affect) is so small I've just stop trying to use them. I assumed it was a known problem.

Quote:I have to agree 100%. I know for the itrials all the Mo runs are normally done in the first few days of a new trail (on my server). If for whatever reason you miss out then (due to timezone or other issue) you can almost forget about getting a league to go after the badges.I have been increasingly concerned about a specific issue with some of the recent trial badges. Its one thing to ask a single player to perform some degenerate behavior to get a badge, whether its killing thousands of monkeys for no reason or whatever. If you really want the badge, you'll complain about it but you'll do it. Its another thing to make badges that require teams, like completing Positron's task force.
Combining the two is problematic because you have to ask an entire team to do something unrelated to the primary task. Even the old school Master badges asked teams to at least do something that didn't interfere with running the task force: don't die. You can ask someone to not die, please.
But Master of Keyes? That requires volunteer bunnies to hop around avoiding patches, an activity that isn't strictly necessary to complete the trial. And it requires a league to deliberately shoot at the thing you're not supposed to shoot at for the sole purpose of taking more damage for no reason. Master of Underground requires asking an entire league to give up an additional half hour of their lives creeping through tunnels and shooting at bombs instead of just setting them off and getting to the end of the trial.
When badging was something you could either do solo or do with a team where the badge requirements were nominally parallel with doing well at the team task in general, badging was at worst an extra activity that wasn't antagonistic to the rest of the game. But badges like Preservation Specialist put badgers in actual conflict with other players: others have to suffer for you to get that badge, and unnecessarily if they are not badgers. Master of Lambda has similar silly requirements that require asking an entire league to do something stupid just so the badgers can get the badge.
I think that's a problem. The devs need to institute a cardinal rule on badges: badges that require teams will not require degenerate behavior from the league. Badges that can be acquired solo can ask the players to do anything the devs wants, but badges that require teams should never require badges to force non-badgers to do blatantly unproductive things. -
My only encounter with the name camping on Exalted was after I created a character there using the same name as one of my characters on Infinity I had for since COV come out.
I think it was the day after Exalted started I got a global tell from someone while I was playing a different character on Infinity saying that they have been know as that same name for a long time on another server and are moving to exalted and wanted to know if I would trade the name.
It was a very polite tell and although I understand the name in question would be considered a very desirable villain name I did not have the attachment to it that I have with some of my other character names. So after a couple of tells back and forward I started to type up a tell to say that he can just have the name, no trade required. But then before I can press enter he (or she) sends a new tell saying something along the lines of I can arrange a swap with one of the good names I managed to get on Exalted, including .. and he then lists a number of what I understand would be very desirable names (including I think at least two that were well known forum names).
It was at that point that I realised his story about having the name on the other server may not necessary be true and he likely wanted the name to trade to someone else, so I cancelled the tell I was just about to send and just told him I wasnt interested in giving it up.
I wonder if he realises just how close he came to getting the name, if only he stopped talking.
Still not quite sure how he worked out my global name from a character I had created but at that time no actually played (apart from exiting out as soon as it was created). -
Of all the new bugs that turned up, the one that is most likely to stop me playing is the changes to ragdoll mechanics. I was playing last night and for some reason I couldnt stand seeing the way the defeated mobs where twisting into impossible shapes etc. It may seems like a minor bug, but Its hard not to notice and completely destroyed any immersion of the game (at least for me).
COX did have some of the best physics mechanics of all the MMOPRGs, but since the last patch its now got one of the worst. I guess the other bugs I can put up with, or take no notice of, but for some peculiar reason this one just keeps jumping out and screaming at me -
Quote:It may seem funny, but if the above two suggestions where active, then I think I likely would purchase the pet. It's the little extras like this that would make it enjoyable.Improvements needed on the dog:
1: Work with Walk power - we have a walk power and a dog power, only make sense to allow players to walk their dog, haha. Dog will probably need new walking animation as well.
2: Allow dog to growl and bark at enemies if player is attacking them. I don't want a dog to just sit there scratching itself while I'm wailing on enemies. Having it bark at enemies would also serve the purpose of non-combat-ness while at least giving it the appearance of showing some interest in what you do. -
Not sure if this has already been noted, or even its is a bug or not.
Force Field no longer stops the low level minions during the escape phase of the BAF. At best it may make them temporary change direction for half a second. The good news that it actually slows downs the commanders a tiny bit now, if anything Ive noticed that some minions get past it faster than some of the commanders.
I assumed it is somehow tried in with the knockback bug.
Happen on all trials I did over the weekend. Im yet to test it outside of a trial. -
Running a low level solo Tip mission only to run into three Vanessa Ds together in the first room. Didnt realise it was a bug at first and was annoyed at the developers for designing such a solo unfriendly mission. After many deaths however I managed to defeat them and that gave me a great feeling of accomplishment.
The nerfing of Force Field has been the most annoying change for me on my MM. No more holding down a door and half by myself anymore on a BAF -
