Quote:ONE CAPE STYLE (which has two sub types) is 440pp. Repeat: four hundred forty points.Hi there,
The 440 Paragon Point Price is intended and yes, the Cape you're referring to is included in the Magic Costume Bundle.
Hope that answers your question!
The Magic costume bundle, which includes a four hundred forty point cape, is four hundred points. You are discounting the cape 40pp and giving the rest of the magic costume pieces away for free.
What kind of magic mushrooms are your marketing people eating over there that that makes ANY kind of sense?
PS; if someone is naive enough to purchase the cape and then wishes to purchase the magic bundle for the rest of the magic items, they have now paid EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY POINTS (that's more than ten bucks!) for something that should never, ever, EVER be rationally possible.
You unlock the basic capes - this includes like 20 different cape styles!!!! - for something like 120 or 160pp. YOU UNLOCK THE MAGIC CAPE FOR 440PP??!!! What are you SMOKING? O.o Really! -
...Ooohhh, I seeeeeee that now. I saw Defense and didn't even drill down into it thinking it would be, obviously, for Defense sets - since the rest of them are placed within categories that match their type. Derp!

I just want to point out that the Rocket Board is faster than Fly. Fly is speed capped out of the gate (58ish mph). Rocket Board does not obey the Fly Speed Maximum.

Quote:Steadfast Protection is not available in the PMarket. I have no idea why. No damage resistance sets are.Yeah, that actually sounds good.
I am thinking about buying the Red Fortune, the Karma, and maybe a Steadfast Protection (Provided they sell it, of course.) myself for my future Crab Spider and my newly inducted Night Widow.
This info might make it a good investment. -
Quote:And that aura that drains end from foes? That thing doesn't cost a single eps to run. AND it grants you recovery bonuses for every foe in the aura.Err, how about that sleep patch? The one that pulses sleep so you can sit there punching a guy and he keeps falling asleep? The chaining confuse, the chaining kd? I'd say it's got a few fairly unique tricks up its sleeve - not to mention that yummy aura that de-blues everything on the sleep patch while I'm punching them.
That's frikken awesome, man!!! -
Paypal your friend some money, have your friend use paypal to buy points, buy rocket board with points.

It's neither like Hamis or IOs. Hamis are totally bugnuts (because of the way the game works), and IOs can make a power accept enhancements that it shouldn't (e.g. Vengeance and tohit/recharge or defense/recharge IOs, the recharge portions will work).
Alphas work exactly like slotting enhancements in a power. If a power does not take X enhancement, then X alpha will not work in it. If a power does take Y enhancement, then Y alpha will work in it. -

It used to be that redraw time was a part of the animation. Remember when there used to be small pauses between attacks of the same set -- but there wasn't a pause if you used <set attack> <non set attack> <set attack>? That's because <set attack> <set attack> didn't show the redraw part of the animation, so there was a pause where your character just stood there.
BABs removed the redraw time from the animation, and added an actual redraw "penalty". It was around the time of Dual Blades' release, IIRC. It allowed attacks within a set to flow smoothly from one to the next, which was really important for DB.
You can reference this by doing a search on ParagonWiki for "redraw" and note the several patch notes that say "X will no longer cause redraw for Y". The actual posts describing the redraw change have either been lost to the ether or I simply cannot find them. -

You're looking at the PVP details, or you are in a PVP zone. In PVP, they give resistance to all damage. In PVE, it's only smashing/lethal.
-
It's also too bad it's only a 15% bonus (for all other weapon sets it's 5%). Not enough to really matter against +4x8.
-
I think that's Dumple's roundabout way of commenting on the devs repeatedly citing clipping as reasons they won't give us certain costume pieces.

The weekend before Thanksgiving?
Really?
REALLY????
The weekend before Thanksgiving!
Who thought that one up? That's just dumb. -
All of the graphics are stored on your harddrive. Everything is compressed into the .piggs which is why the file size seems to be small. The game expands these out to full size.

Yeah, I pay monthly and my renewal date is the 27th. I also got my PP early, and they can't know for sure whether I was going to renew or cancel before my billing date. I could cancel and I would get these points for free.
-
Probably. You'll also run into the same problems if you ever go to Praetoria (including First Ward).

Lower Body > Pants > Baggy > Long (for ragged hem) or Shredded (for tattered lower portion)
Selecting either of these changes "Baggy" into "Tattered" for some reason, but if you click on "Tattered" it will change back into "Baggy". ??? -
[n.b. I haven't bought StJ yet, have only fiddled around on my fiance's StJ character]
I wish there was an indication of the combo points above my character's head. I have a huge monitor, and constantly looking up into the corner totally takes me out of the immersion of the fight. -
Quote:PPS puts you in the default standing position when you stop. Rocket Board does not. You're always "surfing" on the Rocket Board. Is the Rocket Board using a slightly altered stance of the Prestige Power Slide? Because players can use attacks while using the Prestige Power Slide...
But yes, using melee sets whilst on the board would look just plain silly. Spinning claw attacks, whirling axe, etc.
Right, like the Prestige Power Slide...
PPS puts you in the default standing position, then fires an attack, when you attack using it. -
You don't need apostrophes unless you're building combination binds, e.g. talking and emoting or costume change and power effect. (unless it's a chat bind for a channel with a space in its name, but that's getting off topic)
-
I would NEVER autofire Build Up. I would never autofire any other kind of +dam/+tohit click power (e.g. Follow Up, Aim, etc.) except maybe Rage.
*fight just ends* *goes into rest* *BUILD UP!* ...... crap
*runs up to minion* *BUILD UP!* *brawl goes off* ....what a waste -
Just a note, since your wording was a little odd, /friend <charactername> is to actually place that character on the friends list. To talk in the friend channel, you actually have to use /f <message>. To talk to someone in your friend channel, you have to mutually be on each other's friends list (not gfriend list).

I can't confirm whether this fixes it, because I am not having any trouble editing my costumes, but I heard this second-hand:
If you have an unused second or third build, switch to that build. You'll be able to edit your costumes that way (with the added benefit of paying level 1 prices instead of the exorbitant level 50 fees).
