They are going SUPREMELY FAR out of their way to make sure subscriptions are their cash cow -- even so far as to revamp the veteran rewards to make it more enticing to players to stay subbing longer (the longer you sub, the more likely you are to keep subbing - outside of financial stresses - because of time investment). If they are doing so, that means the likelihood of them offering lifetime subscriptions really low, and the longer they intend to be in business, the lower the possibility of lifetime subscriptions becomes. -

Looks like top contenders are Paragon, Prime, and Loyalty. I like Prime, but don't know how well it fits with the server scheme whereas Paragon and Loyalty I think fit well and sound good too.

For a short time period around some early/mid Issue (Issue 12??), current subscribers were given 2 character slots to use as they saw fit, for free. If they did not claim them (I forget if the requirement was to "log in" or if the requirement was to "unlock a slot"), they did not have access to them. So not all players have these extra 2 slots.
Will players who managed to obtain the 2 extra slots still have them when Freedom launches? For instance, currently, on my Infinity server:
12 base slots
2 Going Rogue slots
2 freebie slots
5 purchased slots
TOTAL: 21 -- (of these slots, 2 are empty)
When Freedom launches, will I still have a total of 21 character slots w/VIP sub, or will I only have 19 character slots w/VIP sub, effectively locking out my two empty slots? -
Do you have a charge on your bank account/credit card? If not, then yes, you got your free month, since it's only June - thus you have until July 24 to play for free, before you get billed.
If you have a charge on your bank account/credit card, then no, you did not get your free month and should contact support. -
Your video card's drivers are not installed properly. See That Monitor: section that's pretty much blank? Yeah, that.
Reinstall the drivers for your video card (utilize Driver Sweeper or an equivalent driver cleaner, someone will be along with a link no doubt). Should allow your monitor to interface properly, which will then load its default drivers - you can typically find monitor-specific drivers if your monitor has fancy doodads like USB ports or whatever, but if it's just a viewscreen with a power button, you don't have to if you don't want to. -

Inherent Fitness opens up at 2. All four powers. You cannot choose pool power Fitness anymore. Old characters that still had pool power Fitness keep it until they respec, when they're forced into Inherent Fitness. All data and enhancement stuff stays the same between the two. -

Do a repair on your installation. On the NCLauncher, right click "City of Heroes" in the left list, and select "Repair (Consistency Check)". On the old updater (I don't know if it's possible to use the old updater anymore or not, I finally got rid of my installation because I managed to find settings that don't screw up my game), it's a button in the bottom right.

Sure speaking French or German helps, but many Europeans speak more than one language, unlike the average American, so there is definitely more than 5 people on each of those servers that speak English.

I love watching Rx10 dig all these holes all over the place for himself. Then sometimes he even climbs out of one hole and goes back into another hole and starts digging away again. Tray 5 has changed a little bit with the addition of the booster pack powers, tray 4 teleports are always the same and the travel power depends on the character. -

We're talking about psychics, not anything else. Bringing up other powers, powersets, abilities, etc. is irrelevant.
The Origins of Power gives the lore explanation for psychics. Whether or not YOU PERSONALLY AGREE is totally irrelevant. It's there for lore purposes; you and everyone else can choose to incorporate it or not as you see fit. But that doesn't make it stop existing. -

I thought Penelope and all those others were natural? Why would you assume that because Sister Psyche is any other psychic has to also be? Any of them could have psychic powers from a magical, science or any other origin. Though by far the majority of psychics in CoX are natural. -

I do support an option to make non-chat text larger (an OPTION, not something that's not opt-out-able).
