From a practical point of view I think Rajani Isa hit on the best solution. Looking up decent global channels on Freedom is probably a better solution that moving to a different server. While AE farming is very popular on Freedom it is far from the only teaming going on (in fact I doubt it's even making up half of the teaming going on). It is, however, the most visible teaming. Since AE farming takes place in a reasonably localized area it is primarily advertised in Broadcast/Local chat as opposed to global channels. Other forms of teaming are more likely to use Globals due to the wider reach.
Now if you want to move off of Freedom, that's your right. Pick any of the other servers, they all have reasonable populations and probably a slightly lower portion of AE Farming than Freedom.
However, unless you are willing to listen to advice on alternate methods of finding a team chances are you'll be back here complaining about how your new server is dead.

I've recently found quite a welcoming population on Freedom outside of AE.
Join the global channel, Freedom TF or Freedom TFs (one is capped, iirc) or do a channel search (right-click your chat tab, choose "Channel Search" from the menu) and type in the keyword, "Freedom" and try one that looks good for you.
If you still want a new server, I suggest Justice or Inifinity. Both have good populations and teaming.

So it's not hard to find non-AE farming teams, even on Freedom, but it helps a whole hell of a lot to go somewhere besides AP.

I have personally moved to Virtue (from Freedom) recently, and I am enjoying it quite a bit.
There seems to be a good deal more TF's and the like going on, but make sure you get into some global channels. (Global channels are important for any server)

To this request, I would echo much of what has already been recomended. Joining the server's global channels is the best way to find non-AE teams. I rarely, if ever, see people advertise in global channels for farms. Also, Atlas Park is where the vast majority of farming takes place, so venturing to other level appropriate zones and looking for teams may be beneficial as well. Freedom has a very healthy population of folks who prefer to avoid AE, myself being among them.
