  1. You know, what disappointed me about Ninja Run is the fact that there isn't any stealth element. I would think that , you know, ninjas might learn to run stealthily.
  2. Ok. We've all seen this bug. It's been around since we got supergroup bases. I would like to see this fixed. I realize that it doesn't break the game but CoV has been around for what? 3 years now? I think the bug should be fixed.

    If you don't actually play the game with others this is what happens. If a player goes into a mission they sometimes are shown on the team line up as in a Superbase. Or vice versa, where a teammate is their base, maybe using a teleporter to travel, but the game will show them to be in the mission. This bug is very annoying to me. It can cause people to think they need to catch up and enter the mission before everyone arrives. Or wait outside the mission for their friend to catch up when their friend is actually in the mission already.

    I'm not a programmer so I couldn't tell you where to look for the bug. It's obviously a zoning issue where the game sees that your companion isn't in the same zone you are and makes the wrong choice on where they are.
  3. I've posted a bug report on this 3 years in a row now. I want to know why all the foes defeated from Trick or Treating drop only Tech Origin enhancements? There is nothing technological about these enemies. They should be Magic origin or at least be a random origin.

    You know I realize that the Halloween event only lasts a few weeks a year but I find it annoying that bugs like this are allowed to stay in the game just because they are harmless or don't last long.

    While you are looking at Group Fly could you please do something about the person who has the power flying faster than those who are granted the flight? What's wrong with making everyone fly just a little faster than the one with Group Fly active?
  6. Bug:

    I still see the bug where someone on my team is in their supergroup base but it says they are in a Mission on the team list. I have also seen it where someone is actually in the mission but it says they are in a Supergroup base. This is very annoying and has caused issues like people entering a Safeguard mission before everyone is ready.
  7. What about when a contact from outside of the Hollows sends a level 7 Hero to the Hollows to find some Jewel or something? Will their mission have a chance to be deep in high level territory ? I've had problems like that before. Not all the problems come from the Contacts in the Hollows themselves.
  8. Could you please improve the the LFG search box. One of the things that is deperately needed is the ability to filter out those that are already in a team. This will cause the lists to not be truncated so much. Also we should be able to search for villians at least in CoOp zones like Pocket D.

  10. I know you are doing this to give Tankers sorely needed new powers but Dual Blades just doesn't scream Tanker or Brute to me. When I think of tanker powers I think of slow powerful attacks like the ones they have now. Dual Blades sounds more of a finesse type power to me that would only be suitable for Scrappers or Stalkers. Just my take. I know I don't have to pick a tanker for the powerset. Just wierd to me.
  11. personally i hate the giant boxes for rooms. when i heard we were getting bases i thought we would get to pick from mission tiles and i would be able to put together a cool looking multi level headquarters using the Fifth column underground base tiles and just change the Heraldry to my SG's symbols.

    I still think that base objects are too expensive. the free base plan can only have so many rooms and then my SG which consists of only a handful of people would have to accumulate 1.5 million prestige to get anything bigger. and then we look forward to rent. Personally I think you should knock a zero off every cost . Allow us to make grandoise bases that we can get lost in. why should we be in a Uber huge SG to even get a small chance of having such finery?
  12. What happened to the IRC meetings? Even if they questions were chosen with a bias towards easy answers, the IRC meetings made me feel like the Dev Team was at least trying to communicate with us.
  13. i'm upset that Dual Pistols wasn't a choice. i think Dual Pistols would be a good close range powerset for a scrapper or stalker. if you are going to poll us , put our requests on the poll as well. Please.
  14. This stuff seems awfuly complicated. How is a casual gamer going to be able to understand this stuff? Also, With all these choices we have to make, could we please get in-game stats of our powers so we can make decisions based on more than just our Enhancement bonuses. Not everyone knows what the base stats are and it would be so nice to have it all totalled up in game to see where we are wasting slots.

  18. I think the survey is flawed. PvE should have been an option. the closest answer to it would be specific mobs. Man i hate that term "mobs" and why are highest two choices over 200 percent? what kind of percentage breakdown is that?

    I was disappointed with the bases. The missions we go on have elaborate cave networks, elevators, portals to other sections. But what do we get with bases? Rectangular rooms with only one dimension. I was expecting to be able to make intricate bases like the Fifth Column with walkways and stairs and multilevel rooms. I would have been happy if you gave us access to those missions sections and we just plug them together like puzzle pieces. then give us the ability to change the color schemes of the walls and flags and stuff to place around the bases.

    The expense of the bases also turned me off. It was too expensive to make those big rectangular blocks of boring space. What really gets me is that even if we get a workshop or a teleporter room , it only gives you access to a small amount of the content. The basic teleporter room only lets us go to 2 places. The basic workroom only gives us two tables. The next size rooms take up so much space that you need guite a bit more prestige to make the base big enough and to buy the actual rooms. And my supergroup , which I feel was pretty active wasn't getting that much prestige.

    I like the new mantra you have. Here is what I want. I want my characters to be able to fight elaborate powered arch-nemisis bosses without having to have a full team to defeat them. I want missions where if I look at the map I can't tell where the boss will be. I want more than one entrance to the different levels in a mission (more than one set of elevators, a set of stairs , etc) to add realism to the maps. I really loved the idea of building an arch nemesis through doing missions and figuring out clues to what your foe will have and each time could make a totally different end fight. Please, if you do this , don't make it so we have to have a full team to fight this foe. I think an arch nemesis should be more personal . Actually, I think teams are cool but I think there should be alot more things do on a personal level. Secret Identities, Vehicles, and Subplots. (Statesman once said he knew about Mayfair's DC Heroes RPG. I think the subplot ideas in that game would be really cool ways to add something into this game that isn't neccessarily combat related.)



    I'd like to see a more destructible environment and give heroes the dilemma of having to avoid hitting civillians to get at the bad guy.

    I don't think you should worry about the content players will be missing if they decide to change sides. I DON'T WANT TO PLAY A VILLIAN. But I like the villian powersets and wouldn't care if I can't see the villian content. I rather play the hero content over with powers I can't get as a Hero.

    And, if you are having such a hard time making it so we can change alignment then just make it so we can make Heroic Villians or villianous heroes at level 1. alot of fascinating heroes are anti-villians. I would gladly delete my villians if i could remake them at as Heroes

    When are heroes going to get Newspaper-type missions? Also, what happned to the skill system? Did you just totally give up on that?
  22. What ticks me off is that Smoke Grenades and the Stealth Suit in the Blaster/Devices Power set were supposed to compliment each other. This isn't the case any more. The range of Smoke grenades is too short and bad guys see blaster every time whether he has his Stealth suit on or not. The whole point of Smoke grenades was to have a cool way to sneak past foes. What happened to the concept of these powers?
  23. This empowerment station sounds nice but how are smaller supergroups going to be place one? I'm not talking about cost factor so much as there isn't enough room in the basic superbase to be adding 4 X 4 rooms when try to have an Energy Room, Control room, entry room, infirmary, workshop and Meeting room (btw can we get a smaller Meeting room please?!) . How about putting this station in the Infirmary?
  24. How can people not be familar with their builds when the team is around 49th level? Even with respecs and E.D. people at that leve should be able to adjust rather quickly.
  25. Ok, I can understand the stealth suppression. It makes sense But from what I understood, the Cloaking Field combined with smoke grenades were supposed to give the Device/blaster a way to avoid being seen. Now the smoke grenades suppress the cloaking field and I'm seen every time I throw the grenade. I thought the Grenades were supposed to reduce the visibility of villians?

    Is this a bug or do you really intend to nerf the concept of this really cool combination of powers?
