  2. AE and PL notwithstanding, it takes far less time to 50 now then it used to. In 2005, typical run to 50 was 300-400 hours. Now with the changes in the XP curve, Patrol XP, etc. its more like 100-150 hours. You're lucky if you hit 2 contacts within a 5-level band before you outlevel them.
  3. The new software appear to mark all forums read when you exit, even if you haven't opened them. If I enter to only look at something on one forum, why should it reset my browsing history on all the other forums. I liked the previous mechanic where the unread history was only reset when you viewed a forum. If there is a setting to change this, I can't find it. Pretty sure other vBulletin forums I have used didn't do this.
  4. You don't really need to slot for accuracy. The -def, -tohit, -rech, knockdown, -jump and -fly are all autohit. The only aspect with a tohit check is the hold and the damage. I think I have 3x Dampened Spirits and 3x Undermined Defenses, which gives 4% +dmg and 3.6% +end as well as max recharge and decent debuffage.

    I admit to making this mistake. It caused a team wipe of epic proportions.

    Carrion Creepers

    Carrion Creepers does many things, but none of them is really a mezz:
    - Bramble (AoE slow)
    - Entangle (AoE immobilize w/ DoT)
    - Vine Smash (melee damage & knockdown)
    - Vine Thorns (ranged damage)

    It is targetable and is useful for taking aggro and absorbing alpha strikes. It spawns vines for each foe and can put out a reasonable amount of damage. It has a 2 minute duration and will follow you.

    Storm/ has -res, -def, -rech, -tohit and knockdown, plus damage from tornado and lightning storm. Its debuff values are generally higher than rad's. A well-played storm defender can turn an 8-man spawn to jello with ease. Has no -regen, but frankly you won't miss it. Tornado really takes a bite out of AVs.

    Sleep resist

    That's not the way mezz resistance works. I don't have the formula handy, but 100% resistance only cuts duration by 50%. Plus, even if you could cut duration to zero, you would still be detoggled (offensive toggles) or supressed (defensive toggles).
  11. The temp power only needs to be used once by each team member. After you use it he will take damage. (If he stops taking damage, use it again.)

    Last time I ran the TF we had neither a rad or a kin. We had a storm defender (me) and a dark defender. Entire run was 65 minutes. Prior run was 2:43, but we were on Invincible and also took Reichsman down in the 2nd mission (which is no longer possible), which added another 1/2 hour. If memory serves we had a sonic and a kin.

    Singularity has no self-phase powers and never has. I don't know what you think you saw, but it wasn't generated by Singularity.

    Singularity used to have the power Dimension Shift. It was removed in 2005, but the ability to accept intangibility enhancements was never removed.

  14. Plant/Kin is a blast. One of the most fun combos I've played.
  15. I have it slotted in Poison Gas Arrow, which is an autohit debuff but only a 66% chance of a mag 2 sleep.

    Dark Mastery/Soul Drain: Increased this power's recharge from 120 to 240 seconds.

    Edit: Just checked in game. Is showing 2 minutes for defenders and 4 minutes for corruptors.

    Bad choice

    Only issue with Mind/Sonic is that you don't have a pet to cast Disruption Field on if you plan to solo. Would recommend the fitness pool, as /Sonic has two end-sucking toggles.

  19. My suggestion on Sonic Siphon would be to make it an 8 foot AoE similar to Acid Arrow. I think that would be more balanced than a 30 degree cone.
