Quote:I know, I quoted the date and the blog entry title. It was written in MAY, as I mentioned before... which, by the way, is around when he popped up here the last time and dropped his disgruntled customers a couple overdue pieces (not nearly enough), returned money to a couple people (not nearly enough), and then vanished again (predictably).Aggelakis: Yeah, I'm not saying anyone should put any stock in it, but this is the quote I was mentioning.

"I'll also be working steadily to complete the last few commissions in my MMOART queue, and putting the finishing touches on that new site layout as well."
But the date on that speaks for itself. -
Quote:Technically, each PC is 'the' superhero among a hojillion superheroes in Paragon City that is Saving the World (uh, repeatedly) and Ridding Alternate Realities of Evil Doers (uh, repeatedly) and etc. Your character is the main character in that character's time line, and every character experiences the same time line, separately and at the same time, at once. Handwave away the parts that don't make sense, repeatable content is required in MMOs.It's probably easier if the Devs of this game treat it sort of like the Simpsons cartoon in that even though it's been around for many years the kids have never "grown up".
(reword for Destined One status and each and every PC villain being 'The One') -
For the love of pete, Cimerora is accessible through Midnighter clubs... There are two Midnighter clubs within a couple hundred yards of a Wentworths and a Black Market. Use your damn market teleporters if you're that lazy. We don't need a friggen 'library pass'.

The site seems down right now, but I could have sworn that the first entry mentioned clearing up some old commissions.

Niv specifically said Martial Arts was the natural pack. Which leaves Cyborg to be the tech pack, since it certainly isn't a mutant pack.

Signing the hell out of this suggestion!!

Quote:Enhancement damage is counted in the buff category. 3 SOs = 95%, so you're now at 195% damage.Enhancements are a whole different animal. They're a different type of boost over what +DMG does.
For an easier comparison, just open up your combat attributes and monitor Damage Bonus. No amount of basic enhancement slotting will make that anything but 0.00%. But if you do a set bonus that gives +3%, or use BU, it increases.
A Blaster's cap is 500%, which includes the base 100%. So your Blaster won't top out until your damage bonus reads 400.00% (and turns blue to indicate it's at the cap). This is completely independent of enhancement damage.
EDIT: Sc00ped by Agge! -
Quote:Combat Monitor monitors buff caps only.Actually... yes and no. If you monitor damage buffs on your blaster it caps at 400% but doesn't include your enhancements. So with 0% enhancement, even with 500% buffs, you only get +400% total. So to say it's 500% either false or incomplete, depending how you look at it.
It doesn't include the base 100% (you originally do 100% of your base damage, no matter what, before buffs, enhancements, and/or debuffs. A 50 damage attack does 100% of 50 damage, plus whatever else % is applied.)
Blasters cap at 400 percentage points of buff. You cap at 500% damage total, since you have 100% at the start. -
No, you get the last four digits of the code. It sits there, XXXXXXXXXXX and your four digits, in your unused serial codes page, until it's been applied to an account in your master account.

/bind w "+forward$$powexecname Ninja Run"
/bind s "+backward$$powexecname Ninja Run"
this SHOULD toggle Ninja Run each time you press and release w and s. Change w and s to your preferred movement keys if you don't use WASD for movement.
Pressing the key with toggle it on, releasing the key will toggle it off.
I would make another key just in case it gets stuck (these kinds of binds sometimes hiccup)
/bind somekey "powexectoggleoff Ninja Run" -
Growth/shrink isn't possible in City without a total overhaul, so no, it's very doubtful to be considered down the road for City.
Maybe City 2, if they make it. *IF* they make it, and *IF* that engine is capable.
I've stated this before. Why do you seem to be insisting that no one is answering you? -
Quote:When I'm playing with a specific friend of mine, I always toggle on an appropriate costume if possible (I have all the con costumes except harlequin and praet.clock). He repeatedly and often forgets that players have access to these costumes, and frantically tries to kill me. It is a source of endless amusement for me.Playing a Freakshow Respec with everyone in Freakshow costumes is amusing though, names or not.
The best is when he tries to put drop powers under me. "BURN, BADGUY! BURN!~ whyyyyy isn't it dyyyin--- DAMMIT AGGE!!!!" -
That's how it looks now since the update to the chat window, with linking and right-click name/channel menu.
Not saying it's not bugged, just saying you're seeing what we're all seeing. -
Quote:Read this.Really? They would stack? That's awesome, I never knew that. Thanks!

Why are you guys even arguing anymore? Another_Fan has way too much invested in his opinion to even think about changing it, and ya'll are not going to change your opinions (because they're generally correct).
Just stop. It got dumb at least ten posts ago. -

Quote:Just so you know, it says 11:59 PM Pacific Time (that's almost-midnight, 'cha know), and then it gives a bracketed time for eastern. That's 2:59 AM, not 2:59 PM like Niv typed. Never pay attention to anything but the Pacific times that they give (or Central times, if they use them instead of Pacific; fairly rare anymore). They know their own times. None of the marketing or community department is reliable with time conversions.I expected this to be ending this afternoon; the last word on the subject was that it was over "2:59 PM Eastern Standard Time" on Nov. 11th. Was still dragging on at quarter to four.
I have a couple characters that need Numina for the accolade. I want it gone, gone, gone. -
Quote:More than a few people had complained about the fact that their comments would not stay closed, howver. And thee were some people being downright harassing and abusive through the comments becuase they new the reciever could see who sent them. i think they are a loss, but it's not fair to expect the community reps to have to police every little function of the boards for idiots.Quote:Short and accurate version: Mods are fed up looking over reports from people who can't handle anonymous feedback that can be disabled, which might that might be trolls, or might be people voicing a disenting opinion to them.
Additionally, there are many, many reports of comments being made by people that are downright horrific. It's fine to be controversial, it's fine to voice your dissenting opinion, and it's fine to negative rep someone. It is not okay to treat the person you are negging like trash.
The abusive comments were probably far more likely the reason they disabled User CP comments. Not that people were complaining about them, but because people were making them. -

No. For the bajillion reasons stated in all the bajillions of previous suggestions of the same or similar idea.

Quote:The valkyrie pack is the goodies from the AE edition, just like the GvE pack is the goodies from the GvE edition. The Valkyrie pack and Wedding pack were released as non origin-specific packs
The wedding pack was released before super boosters were ever announced (almost a year; in Feb 2008, vs Sep 2008 for booster packs). It accompanied the valentine event where Sister P and Manti were married. The wedding pack's undeniable success was probably what prompted the devs to release the super boosters.
Neither were released as 'super boosters'. -
