Did anyone play Champions the precursor to Hero System?
My friends and I tried to play it back in 86 but kept getting bogged down in character creation

Although I'm not sure how a situation like that could really be worked into a storyline when we have Incarnte levels of power -

This explains last night (my time). I finished levelling a few levels in AP and the sky was yellow so I thought there was some 8th anniversary thing. I looked up and saw a helicopter flying overhead, I took off but couldn't catch it and broadcast "Helicopter?". Then I flew around a bit and noticed all the buildings were blue so I asked "Are these colours normal?". Noone said anything, the buggers.

They would give us everything if they could. MMO's are tougher to pull off than normal games because of server constraints. A lot of the things you want have been asked for already and they are aware of them.

I got a bit caught out, I was not able to play my /Time MM (others were fine as I was tier 9).

Zip. I find it annoying especially when my attacks are interrupted and even though I play a lot of melee toons I avoid the sets with click antimez.

It's in-game time not rl time, just remember to log out. Although while I was teaming I also did not want to 'waste' time by levelling.

All the servers are now virtualised (which was how they were able to add Exalted and combine the european servers into the list) so you could be queued with anyone from any 'server'.

I bought a 4 hour and a 1 hour token just to try them out (I should do something about my credit card debt sometime). I solo'd a brute to 17 in 3 hours and then joined a 'friend', haven't quite used up the 1 hour on my tank yet, he's in the high 20s now. I don't think I'll be buying them in the future unless they went on sale, they may be a nice hook for me if they were in the next Superpacks though.

What you are suggesting is known as 2box-ing where you use 2 (or more) accounts simultaneously. It is easy to do with today's tech and the devs made it easier when they gave us fully active free accounts.

Yep. They are a mix of the two so if you have npc chat up then you might as well put cutscene up.
