Question for switching back to FreePlay from VIP

If you don't have 13 reward tokens, or have not purchased MM from the Paragon Market, no you will not be able to continue playing your MM.

Just need to unlock that option using points at the paragon market.
Or if you already have 13 reward tokens (months subscription or equivalent?) you won't need to do anything.

I got a bit caught out, I was not able to play my /Time MM (others were fine as I was tier 9).

I analyzed it pretty thoroughly and here is the rule I came up with for what you should spend money on:
If you don't plan on subscribing forever, go premium and only subscribe occasionally if at all(to try a bunch of things for a month, cheaper than buying them if VIPs get them free, and to do incarnate content for a short time or VIP mission content).
Being Premium is always cheaper and a better deal unless you absolutely want the "VIP only" content and plan to subscribe forever.
That really is the best way to go, either stay VIP or go Premium and stay Premium most often.
I have made 4 characters on my account, one of them being a Mastermind (which I was allowed to make after becoming a VIP). Will this Mastermind character be unplayable once I switch to FreePlay? Or will I still be able to play him?
