You mean I no longer have to stay up until 3:00 AM to see the new shinies (and much later updating the link in my signature)?

The market updates/reveals are manual, from what I recall. Not on a timer.

There's a not-insignificant part of the playerbase for whom this change sucks, but honestly as much as I truly liked the 3:00 AM surprise, it's really better for me this way. AND it's better for poor Black Pebble, who's the first one in every morning yet (I assume) had to be there at midnight for the updates.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
