So What is Plan Z?
Wait wait so the forum is behind the back now? When did that change? First up until now the complaints was about "spitting" in their faces and rubbing their faces in this and eating poo and all that crazy/weird perverted stuff now it's behind the back?
Lol. "the back is the front which is the back" seems like the case in this matter. |
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
It has been truly interesting watching this forum melt down so completely.
It's also been amusing to learn just how many people I'd like to watch die in fires.
Be well, people of CoH.
My advice to the plan Z folks would be - don't be this guy:

(Not for the humor-impaired.)
I'm going to pretend I believe you here. It means you're so useless and stupid that your can't even keep your hands free.

Well I think the only near universal saying in the world is Ok. The rest depends on the area.
Ever heard of the saying "Haare auf die Zähnen haben" or in English "Have hair to the teeth"? Maybe you have, but no one here in El Paso ever heard of the term even though it's a very famous quote in Germany, and the english version have been heard by everyone I knew in St Louis, MO. Chicago, Atlanta, New York, And even Orlando and my reaction coud be the same, "non-belief that they never heard of it." but then I think about it. Is there any phrase in this world that completely 100% of the entire world population of about 7 billion plus knows about? So far none, that I know of so it's safe to assume that some people will not know a phrase that is "world wide known" in my circle.
it's a saying to describe the kind of 'tough cookie' you'd do well to avoid.

At least you finally got rid of that CDN_Guardian jackass a few years back. If anyone deserved a ban, it was him.
As I've said to several people now, if there's a silver lining to November 30th, it's the fact that YOU will lose your game and never get it back.
|
And of course, that you shut your ******* mouth in the meantime.
But then again, we already know how you feel about other people having pointless hopes.
Did it occur to you that she may be foreign? I bet you don't have a f'ing clue what "don't put horns on a monkey" means, either. |
As far as EL goes, I'm pretty sure she's from either the US or Canada and I know from previous conversations that she lives in a large-ish city. I'm also damn well sure that she can stand up for herself based on those previous conversations.

No kidding. This is way beyond "unorthodox" and straight into "looney bin". They probably thought you were a random fan who wanted to see what the "asking price" was, and dismissed you accordingly. And that's assuming you reached anyone who was even in the same department as the one you needed, and not just a GM whose job is to type /stuck.
|
Crazy people are aware of reality but act as if it isn't there.
Asking about the selling price of CoH via a ticket isn't worthy of being called crazy. Ignorant, yes. But hardly "looney bin." Would you recommend someone for a padded room if they thought a brake failure on a car meant they had to replace the transmission? That's not crazy. It just means they don't understand how a car works.

Although the usual people that attempted to jump on my case do not seem to be flocking here like they did when I said it.

Crazy in a sense that they would think that but not clinical crazy.

LOL apparently support tickets are not meant to be used as official communications regarding the purchase of the IP.. Who knew!?!?!
And this is the "proof" that NCSoft fails to communicate with established businesses...and people wonder why the SAVE team is seen as a bunch of amateurs? Go figure.
That lil bit of info discredits the SAVE team more than anything I have seen posted by them. Heck you could have even used the sunset email address, their real email addy, or even a phone call, but instead you chose to use an in-game support button to back up your claim that NCSoft won't discuss selling. Ok.
You tried to inquire about the purchase of the game through an in-game ticket?
And because you didn't get anywhere, you concluded that there was no way to proceed? Honestly, stuff like this is why none of you gets taken seriously, you're so completely lacking in even the most basic business acumen. |

I could have also used a phone call, an email, a telex (anyone still use those?), a fax, or any of a number of direct channels to the organization. Just because a channel is being used in an atypical fashion does not matter as long as I'm contacting an employee who has knowledge of any part of the company structure. The important part of those tickets is that they provide a tracking mechanism which I was taking advantage of. When a company employee refuses to even give you a better point of contact that's a red flag. As a consequence I have a direct statement in writing about that which I could take to my CEO. The first step in these negotiations is finding out the right person to talk to. If the target organization denies this basic information at any level then forward momentum is halted. I've been doing this stuff for decades and I have never been so stonewalled. I could have walked into their corporate offices looking like a bum and had a better response.
sounds like something I posted not too long ago.

I still hold that if anyone were on fire in front of me, no matter how morally reprehensible or how strongly they resemble Angry_Citizen, I would do everything I could to save them, even at the risk of serious injury to myself.

Thanks for the further proof that you are, unreservedly, a horrible ******* human being. |
I don't know it exactly, but I can make an educated guess. I'd imagine that the phrase continues "and tell me it's the devil," making it similar to the phrase, "Don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining." If I'm wrong, I have no problem admitting it. But I'm also not going to pretend that it's to be taken literally and say "Why would anyone put horns on a monkey? That's just gross. Are you projecting some sort of perverted monkey horn hobby onto the rest of us?" because that would be idiotic. |

Gee, there's a lot of boorish arrogance from your side. First you have Plan Z's "marketing executive" telling someone from Korean heritage that their culture is an affront to our community, and now we have some poor sap like you throwing out asterisks at people for the crime of not knowing English expressions.
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
No, I was there. But you also weren't specific as to whom, and you said that in general, if someone were on fire on your lawn, you probably wouldn't put them out. And then proceeded to tell a story about how you didn't call an ambulance for a dude who'd been stabbed because he was rude to you a few minutes earlier.

I'm talking about the one where I said that I wouldnt mind seeing a few people around here die in a fire if given the opportunity.
You didnt see that one?

Heheh, well for mechanics around here, I wouldn't think they actually believe replacing the transmission would solve the brake problem. For that, I refer to a modern proverb. "When a doctor tells you that you need surgery, you can't be sure if you're dying, or if he's just planning a vacation."

Actually I've worked in business management at the local, national, an international levels. I used the ticket to resolve an in-game issue too

Alright, maybe Plan Z will be a disaster. But for a disaster, you sure have already elevated them to celebrity status by holding them to the same standards that slander journalists hold politicians to.
The folks who are saying, "Hey look at that still. Obama must be checking out her butt!" need to try watching the full video.

If it gets released, then it is what it is. Like I said, there are people out there who don't seem to mind playing a character with no notable offensive capability whatsoever.
And if it's freeform and good set individually, just leave it up to the player on how they want to combine them. Very good idea.
