I'd like to see a mastershot like this when we're at peak population. That could really tell a story...especially if we can get all the PCs ;holdtorch'ing.
A video would be even better, but that would make most computers whimper.

So far, the client hasn't crashed, but I'm not sure how many more characters it can handle.

All of this is AWESOME!!! We were at SIX instances of Atlas Park a few minutes ago when I logged for lunch.

I think we crashed the server. And the rally just got mentioned on Kotaku.
I put the characters closer together to try to fit 780 characters in one screen...
The client crashed after rendering that frame.

Leo, your pic is now up on Kotaku. I just mode a post there to acknowledge that it was your work.
A little bit ago in Atlas Park 4, Samuraiko was musing that she wanted to combine the demorecords from all the instances of Atlas Park into a single demo, to show everybody who is in the protest in a single scene. I wrote an script to do just that, extracting the costumes from everybody currently in the Atlas Park instances that I could get to, and putting them in the steps of City Hall.
This is what it looks like:

I couldn't get in to Atlas Park 1, so it doesn't include the heroes that are there, and I am probably missing a lot of heroes in the instances that closed after I snapshotted them. But already the demo plays at less than 1 frame per second, and a lot of heroes are ignoring the holdtorch emote they are supposed to be doing!
I think there's not going to be enough space in those stairs once the rally actually starts...
