Ok so who here is a furry?

Agent White

Simple question. Just something I've been wondering since I joined and now seems as good a time as any to ask

Lol okay, but why do you want to know?

Oh, idle curiosity And honestly the game seems to have it's fair share of furry influence, particularly the past year, and there's plenty of users with at least icons so it's always been a question, I know there's a crowd of us in the community and possibly even in Paragon.

Given the number of dragons, cats, and wolves I've built over the years? Nah couldn't be...

Hairy yes, Furry no.

Hmmm, I will say I'm a furry fan. My main character is a were-tiger and most of my characters have animal influences.

And Gallon is frikken awesome

We have an entire RP group called the VERMIN on Victory.. for about six years we've RPed and now it's all useless.

It's more devastating than the suits in NCSoft know.

Depends entirely on how you define "Furry"...

If you mean "someone who loves anthropomorphic art and web comics, has created several (and I mean SEVERAL) cat, bird, etc characters in-game and has written quite a few short stories and even one novel starring a half-human/half-animal character.." then yes... I suppose I'm a furry...

If you mean "someone who goes to the football game because that mascot in the costume makes him feel tingly in his naughty bits..."... er... not so much.

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

My Duel-Blader is a Were-Dragon, Was always waiting for better dragon parts to make his dragon half outfit, then there was my 1st 50 "Sound Dragon"(Sonic/Ice) Who was also a a Were-Dragon(of ice). So maybe a tad of a "Furry".

Going to miss the fun and nice people here at CoH. Feel free to add me on PS3/XBox360
PS3X360: OmniNogard
Currently playing: Mass Effect 3(PS3) Minecraft(X360) Skyrim(X360).

Confession: Donatello from Ninja Turtles made me feel that way when I was 8

But Agent White hasn't answered his own question...

I can make you some and a tail to go with it...

....What? I dabble in making costumes too....

I have hobbies damnit!

Oh what me? Of course I am.

And yes, I just mean a fan of anthropomorophism.

My icon is actually from a commissioned piece of my character and one of my favorite personal pieces of art, not to mention the inspiration for what became my in-game namesake (Agent Whitefox on Victory).

Back when I was in Japan for a while, I very nearly bought a fox's tail that was for sale out on Harujuku Street. I still regret never getting that

I often wondered if I was, but in the end not really. I might have had a number of "furry" characters, but after actually meeting a number of real furrys I knew I wasn't.

Cool, just thought I'd ask. I mean, all the times I stalked you, you never mentioned one way or the other

Was it animatronic? That's probably the last hurdle I had for my recreation for my main character I had mocked up for Halloween this year. I found instructions for cheap eye-lids for the mask and the next leap was other simple parts like a tail that could move.

But I don't know jilt about that sort of stuff without precise instructions

I know Japan has those animatronic cat ears though. Those are super keen, I'd bet.

And just FYI, I never met a furry IRL that I know of. I do all my dress up for Halloween which is my favorite holiday.

Not a fury myself but...
At Hero-con, I swear I saw a man, drinking coffee, sitting opposite someone in a full, realistic humanoid cow costume.

No idea if they were anything to do with CoH.

If you were either of those two... good on you for being you.

Always remember, we were Heroes.

I've mentioned it here before. I'm an ex-furry. I still have friends who are furry, and that's kind of how I still know about current furry-related things.

Me.

I've been involved in the fandom since 1995, and been on staff at many conventions.

Paragon had an in house furry and never knew.

Sexy Jay enjoyed beer and cocktails talking about how much he wasn't terribly fond of furries while at the room party of one.

Yeah the Brony Mako thing was a bit of a tip off.

On the one hand, I don't generally identify myself as furry.

On the other hand, I have a wikifur entry.

I have a lot of friends who used to run Conifur up here in the Northwest. I attended Rainfurrest last year, it was a very fun con actually, much larger and better-run than Conifur ever was. I sat behind our Tai-Pan table most of the con. ^_^
