I do not... understand. I always tried to imagine what would happen when our game died and what would happen afterwards. I never thought it would actually happen. Do we all like exchange phone numbers and stuff now? I still just can't believe this.

Edit:: 3593 Hours logged, according to Xfire, and that's only the time that I've had xfire running while playing.

Kinda disappointing that the day I decide to log back in to another game I had been away from, this one announces closure. Sorta bummed but trying to keep a level head. Guess that means I've got less time to get caught up on content than I thought.

Been staring at the screen for a long time now in shock, just felt like I had my guts ripped out. Maybe my views have been skewed since I've been playing on a higher populated server as of late but I thought things were going fine. Sure I was on another server but I did drop everything and come to Victory when someone asked me to join a team, Victory was still and always will be my home. I've had some absences from this game but never said goodbye, nothing was permanent.....but now? Maybe some other publisher will buy them out, but that might be too much to hope for.

Well, this really sucks.

I've been here since beta, and I reckon I'll be here until the lights go out, but part of me really doesn't want to put real effort into a game that's going to be gone in 4 months.

There are literally no MMOs on the market that I have any interest in as they all seem to be pretty derivative of WoW (which I disliked). I guess this means I'll have more time to work on the novel and movie scripts I've been trying to write.

I'll keep an eye on things and be back for the closing events just to see how everything wraps up.

In the meantime -- I can be found over at Fark.com as Dog Welder, and if anyone wants to keep in touch, PM me and I'll give out some contact info.

This is so upsetting. I have so much invested in this game for them to casually toss it aside

The big problem is are they going to let you keep paying month by month (since the are cancelling subs) or not? If they do not a lot of us will not be around I think after a month.

I guess I am somewhat lucky I stopped playing a few months ago so I'm not as invested in this game as I used to be. Cox has always been a fun way for me to waste time and forget about the stresses and bs of real life. It's been cool playing with everyone, making friends, cracking up on vent and generally just causing trouble.

There's a lot of people who made the last 5 years memorable and I wouldn't want to insult anyone by forgetting to mention them but thanks guys and girls, it was a blast.

WTF. Servers going dark November 30th. Seriously. By all accounts this game was doing well. What the hell does NC want? I'm just stunned. I will miss you all. This just blows. I.... omg. The entire staff.... It'll be like 4chan on the forums.

Well, for startings: Not going to bother with i-trials any more. Maybe one more magi, think I have one character 16 percent from the top.

Maybe run one TF per character for old times sake.

I thought this game would always be around. All the **** I'll never do, all the plot lines that will never get wrapped up...no more itrials with Madame Pistacio... (where are you, lady, I need a hug!!) Guess it's time to see if I can finish at least some of the stuff I wanted to do before Nov 30, like doing all the Praetoria stuff and getting a scrapper to 50 and actually leveling my widow and every other ******* thing that I was excited about. It's not very likely, though.

Gonna miss you, Victory.
