I know alot of these are reposts from another thread, but I'm sure we'd like a Victory server collection.

Been here since beta but my forum activity was off and on. I had the ICONS to keep me company in City of Heroes for years. When I started I was working insuarance for USAA, 8 years later I'm a fraud analyst and a major bank busting folks for money laundering and deposit fraud. YAY! I'm a real hero now...kinda :-/

I'm going to miss our odd little server. I'm glad I never left for the more populated server. Victory was home ever since beta for me and I'm still stunned I won't ba able to visit it or any of you soon.

This is so upsetting. I have so much invested in this game for them to casually toss it aside

My head is gone. What you also can't see is GM Stavros in front of me telling me I'm fine. I sure don't LOOK fine!

Just for clairity, I want to say that this is not a new team. This is the same team that was founded christmas day 2004. As such we have the prerequisit huge-*** base, website, and TS server.

Victory is our home, we ain't going away.

ICONS is looking for new members to help revitalize our squad.

We're looking for mature folks (18+) that preferably love comics and geek culture, (which is thankfully alot of us here on CoH) and that crave the structure a team that loves this game can create. I've seen alot of folks with homage characters that reference some obscure heroes and villains out there (like Destroyer, a marvel WWII era hero or I also saw some folks dressed like the old Guardians of the Galaxy, we LOVE that kinda stuff because it shows true love for comic culture and a clever knowledge of character making) We use a teamspeak 3 server.

I'll be honest, this is a rebuild. Alot of our members have migrated to other MMO's like Star Trek Online, WoW, DCU and Rift while others stopped playing due to real world problems like our struggling economy. That said I've been running this team since day one and I'd love to use this ressurection of the ICONS to meets some new players and make some new friends.

I've yet to hear any dev's chime in any concern for this persistant problem. It's a ray of hope that Auryl got Apple peeps to look at this seriously. Perhaps this will get something going. Starting to feel like we Mac players are second hand citizens to the devs.

Preferred Method of contact: Talk to anyone of us, our Recruiting guy is Green Bear (@greenbear). He's a cool cat. We really don't do active recruiting but we do occasionaly holler "GO ICONS" in broadcast because it's neat!
We're a friends & family kind of network. That's how we've found the bulk of our membership. However, like some of the SGs on Victory we love to run into interesting players and we have been known to pursue them if they don't have a home.

SG Description:Alot of us are comic book fans and I like the believe our team is themed after classic silver age and modern comic book teams like Avengers, Legion of Super-Heroes, Thunderbolts or Justice League. We're die-hard Victory supporters with little or no alts on other servers. Victory is our home, dammit!

We try to create an enviroment of inter-SG communication and we try to rub elbows with the other large SGs on victory to create a sense of community. Emphasis on the word "try", it is rather tricky sometimes.
Also it should be noted that although we are not a GLBT themed team (I, myself, am straight), we do have many gay members and we support GLBT rights and SGs on this server.
