Supes & Wonder Woman: The New Power Couple
I believe I remember this same plotline from the late '80s or early '90s. And that probably wasn't the first time they had explored it either.

The problem with this pairing is it feels more like "Let's just pair the strongest male in DC witht he strongest female!"
And why have this pairing? From a movie stand point, are they going to start having them be together in the movies?
Ending the Supes/Lois marriage to begin with screamed "OMD" to me to begin with. :/

Stupid crap like this is why I've all but stopped buying comics.
Yeah, it does seem a bit contrived, especially when you remember all the hoopla that accompanied the Superman/Lois marriage. That's one of the things about modern comics that bugs me -- the fluid continuity. It seems like everything is subject to change; it's hard to get invested in characters or stories when they can all be wiped away at the drop of a hat. (which is why I'm embarrassed that this marketing ploy will work on me)
They're just not an interesting couple. I always liked Batman/Wonder Woman as shown on JL/U.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill

Don't worry about Lois. I hear she's given up on aliens and has turned to robots. She's keeping the Red Tornado in her dresser drawer.

In fact, if one woman character was to make me think "Could replace Cat Woman as Batman's main love interrest" (okay that might not be who is his main love interrest, but I think you get the point) it's Wonder Woman.

From the physical standpoint, Superman/WW works a heckuva lot better than Superman/LL. Sorry, but I don't buy the mental gymnastics people try to use to justify how Kal and Lois could have anything approaching a physical relationship.
Don't feel bad for Lois. She's been getting sufficient lovin' from...some dude...in comics as of late.
I don't know how the New 52 Wonder Woman has been portrayed, but I have never thought that Batman and Wonder Woman would work out.
Batman will NEVER accept an equal partner ... either in marriage or any other relationship. Wonder Woman will NEVER accept the kind of treatment Bruce would give her. "This is MY City. Do things MY way. You're just an ignorant Babe in the Woods" blah blah blah.
Superman, on the other hand, has nothing to prove to anyone, especially himself. In fact, I'd argue that Superman is attracted to strong willed women. (Which is about the only reason that his relationship with Lois ever worked for me.)
I don't think Superman and Wonder Woman would last as a couple, though. She would ultimately find him too passive.

Because those times are when he can fully concentrate along with the fact that he grew up trying not to do anything. When it comes to the rather...distracting...nature inherent in a physical relationship, along with the involuntary muscle actions, it's a lot harder to justify him being able to control than it is in day-to-day activities.

Try and count all the involuntary actions or movements you make over the course of one day. And you're telling me Supes can suppress all those involuntary actions, but not other ones.
Look, of COURSE a physical relationship with Lois is unrealistic given his powers. But so is the idea that the guy could go more than a week without blowing his cover.
And thanks for the reading recommendation, but I'm about as interested in the sex-logistics of my favorite superheroes as I am in the sexual preferences of the puppets on Sesame Street. In other words, not at all.

If that requires you to use mental gymnastics, I have to wonder how you don't think Supes hasn't destroyed a lot of things just by simple human actions.

The first time he tries having physical relations with a normal human is the first day he's dumping a body in the sun. If he was able to...practice...with a powered human, he might be able to branch out into normal humans.

Don't read comics too much anymore, but I'll probably pick this up. I feel kinda bad for Lois Lane, though. Still, there's something about an Amazon...
