    Well we're all feeling a little bit punched in the gut by the news. It's a real shame because I was looking forward to building this SG from the ground up.

    Maybe I'll end up on CO or DCUO. Odds are I'll eventually find my way back to a galaxy far, far away.

    But it was fun while it lasted guys.

    I'd like to get as many of the SG members together in the base sometime soon. It'd be cool to RP a bit, maybe run an AE together. Let's talk times we can all be available.

    By all means! Although the Strange is a very different kind of SG in terms of concept and execution, we're still very grounded in the CoX universe. Which means that Guest Stars are welcome!

    I like that direction actually.

    The whole CoX universe (and specifically our little section of the Virtueverse) has no shortage of monsters. And what's more, people know that there really are things that go bump in the night.

    So think about those night-bumping things as wild animals like a lion. A lion can kill the hell out of a person but isn't likely to unless said person goes someplace they're not supposed to be. Leave the wild animals (re: monsters) alone and they aren't especially dangerous.

    Continuing with that metaphor, if monsters are known to be out there then that means there are going to be monster sport-hunters, poachers and over-zealous Heroes.

    The Strange want to protect the more benign monsters from humans while also protecting the humans from the really dangerous creatures of the night.

    This opens up all sorts of cool possibilities for RP story-lines. Imagine hunting down the source of a new occult street-drug, or keeping a group of monster hunting zealots from killing some friendly beastie. And then there's always the unspeakable Eldritch abomination threatening to plunge the Earth into a thousand years of darkness.
