So, Marauder, Aurora Borealis, and Pendragon walk into Atlas Park...

I don't think the Crusaders care which civilian hospitals they are blowing up or who they fight. As long as there are civvies to slaughter in the name of the Resistance they'll be happy.

I'd rather see Galaxy turned into a new co-op 'hazard' zone, ala the Hollows or Dark Astoria.

Just a thought, but maybe like going undercover impersonating Marauder?

Always remember, we were Heroes.

SPOILERS!

Actually, if you played responsibilities arcs up to Cleopatra and remain loyal, then talk to Maurader and prod his apparent indifference about Cleopatra's betrayal and death, you really get a new feel for the guy.

He says that, yes, he does care, yes, he's hurt she betrayed him, but he's actually even more frustrated by the whole situation and admits he doesn't really care whether Cole or the Resistance wins. He'll fight hard for his side, but in the end, having a victor either way to him would have meant things like Cleopatra betraying him wouldn't happen anymore.

Actually, I wonder if we'll get closure on that plotline. Maybe Cleo survives, it'd be a more believable switch if she was one that helped bring him over to Blueside.

Huh. Well I take that back in, all of them are candidates for a heel face turn. And one of them has basically already done it.

So yea, I could see them all being allies.

Interestingly, his old pre-GR bio read:

Quote:
"Bred for battle, Marauder loves nothing more than fighting and destroying his enemies. Most perceive that he serves Tyrant like a vicious dog but, only follows the leader of the Praetorians for the slaughter."

I say we put both Pennys in an arena, wait till they get so sick of the other thinking they're more important that they try to kill each other, and then kill the survivor.

win/win

She'll be in the final Praetorian Zone, Penny Ward.

They'll just merge into on entity.

As do I. Please consider releasing this armor for player use, or even as an unlockable through E-merits or other means, Paragon.

Ok, you got me, that made me laugh. A lot.

Funny part is, before the MoM trial I kind of imagined that this would happen with the three versions of the Clockwork King we know of (CK Prime, the CK from the Clockwork Dimension, and Metronome) and become something of a freakishly powerful, Super-17-like entity dedicated to protecting both Penelope Yins.

That could cause problems by making one of the moral choices "official" - although they already did that in a way with Katie Douglas - the moral choice to help free her or re-enslave here during her GR arc seems to be decided in favor of freeing her once we run into her again in First Ward - so it's possible that they could also decide that the canon version of events was that Washington was taken down and Cleo lived.

EDIT: Beladonna's Incarnate arc also seems to come close to a canon version of a moral choice, as she's still working for the Resistance and not a prisoner of the loyalists, which were the 2 options available during Chimera's GR arc.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. And it's one of the few moral choices that actually has a significant outcome.

Though i can also see her death being impetus for him to finally quit after Cole's empire goes belly up.

I think it'd be more comparable to Voltron than Super-17.

"Inter-Dimensional Clockwork King, UNITE!"
"Form: Arms and legs!"
"Form: Body!"

Too many teasers, it's time for real info now. And beta.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

Or, if he genuinely liked Nova Praetoria, seeing what Tyrant did to it in the name of "order" could also turn him to the good side.

No, all three brains unite to form one uberbrain.

Other than that, you've got it.

Only 2 have brains. The other is a glowball.

*Yawn*

Do something exciting that doesn't involve that PANCAKING universe and I'll be interested.
