So, Marauder, Aurora Borealis, and Pendragon walk into Atlas Park...
In a sense, but it was never expressly spelled out until the 30-40 range (Timothy Raymond was merely expanding upon the discoveries made in City of Heroes, in the same way that the Dossier you get in the Vanguard Arcs spells it out further). It was merely something that observant players could pick up on - much like trying to figure out all the early game Malta influence.

Actually I'm a paying customer and I expect the product I'm buying to have some semblance of quality. Would you buy a hamburger that had only half a patty? |
Again, I'm sorry it's so terrible how they're going about it and how it just breaks the experience for you. But really, it's not going to change soon, Paragon is not a big team and it's a pretty old game and it'd take a major effort to overhaul just so you don't have to deal with having to differentiate for yourself what's 'then' and 'now'.

Incarnate content progressing linearly doesn't make it endless.
Now if it were a loop, that'd be endless.
Endless Incarnate content. New Incarnate events happen after previous Incarnate events.

I knew you'd key in eventually. Good boy

Mhm true! Wibbly wobbly timey wimey. But like Statesman's death and galaxy city's destruction being 'now'. Some stuff follows leveling, some stuff follows 'then' and 'now'.

Seriously, as others have pointed out, I really think you people are taking the image too literally. Clearly we're getting an Incarnate arc or more in i24 that deal with the aftermath of the Praetorian war. Clearly it/they deal with Praetorians on Primal Earth.
But like Statesman's death and galaxy city's destruction being 'now'.

For example, Statesman and Sister Psyche die on 40-50 arcs, but Penny Yin gives out her TF in the 20-25 range - and SSA 2 actually takes place in the 35-50 range, making it quite possible for someone to play through the whole 2nd SSA before they reach the right level to experience the death of Statesman and Sister Psyche, even though SSA 2 has several references to their deaths.
The SSAs are more like snapshots of key moments in the history of the game world that follow their own episode timeline without being integrated into the standard 1-50 leveling path.

"Who Will Die" isn't actually "now" either - it was only current to the game world situation during its release - it's now become a "historical" arc outside the leveling storyline.

I just go with it, figuring out my character's timelines as I go, having some stuff count and other stuff just happen without acknowledging it.
<==== is very lost period
All I know that it gives merits and inf/salvage/recipe/insperation drops
And I like those things plus beating up things
I'm just having fun at this point, but I'm done. Honestly, just looking forward to I24 and I don't even know everything going into it yet. If this change is what it -looks- like, I think it's pretty awesome. I think the trio looks epic and being the first thing you see when your new hero pops into Atlas Park to help is pretty wicked. Ms Lib has been pretty iconic but she really pales in comparison to just how neat these guys look (and honestly could probably do with having her appearance updated, along with the rest of the Phallanx).
I just think it's funny what people will complain over. I say just roll with it and enjoy the experience
i24 looks great, but I don't think those three will be standing in Atlas like that. Looks like a posed shot.
It's possible! both Aurora and Pendragon have featured in the latest story stuff, so it could very well be a hint that they're going to feature in the issue's story prominently.
Heck it could be a teaser for the incarnate content, like a new story arc being included will center around the three of them. This issue is Praetoria's swan song for the time being so wrapping up what's going up with more Praetors wouldn't be a bad idea.
They didn't even switch Libs out when they put her in IP for the STF. I don't think anything will knock her off that pedestal, let alone some praetorians in spiffy costumes.
Actually, I24 has always been when Ms Liberty was supposed to move. The reason she wasn't taken out when she took over the STF in I23 is because there are several missions that point to Ms Liberty. The devs didn't want to mess up anything so she took over the STF instead of Brawler while remaining the forefront Atlas trainer. but we were told they'd be switching it up in I24, which is why it wouldn't be out of the question if the 3 praetorians end up taking her spot.
