What about Shadow hunter? He's barely dressed and sexed up as well. I guess if you are attracted to one particular sex you cannot "see" certain things when it comes to your own sex.

The forumites were polled on two different looks.
The forumites voted overwhelmingly for the version the looks decent.
The forumites did not care for what is basically mirror flips of the silly looking log-in/load screen for I23.
AND the web-op idiots in Seattle went with it anyways!!! WTF??!
Why don't you guys act like other MMO CSR teams and just ignore the forums are telling you.

When a poll such as this is taken, it is implicit that the winning choice will be used. In the event that some other consideration arises to prevent this, then the devs really need to explain why, so it does not leave us with the impression that our input was flat-out ignored.
If they were always going to use option 2, then it would have been much better not to have taken the poll!

Is there a none of the above option? This feels like a presidential election where neither option is a clear winner.
I have no idea who blue bear man is but I'm sure no one looks at either of these without knowing the game and can tell which is the hero and which is the villain.

And yet, you couldn't take your decision far enough to cut off the hideous Escher Girl Pose that Penelope is sporting in version #2. Another quarter inch or so would have done it.
Or was this your Yoda-like way of emphasizing to the art team just how awful the #2 Penelope pose is?
There will be nothing quite like watching that broken butt peeking up over the tab bar with every load-in to drive the point home.
Now I have to go find out if Zombie Man's reskin works on macs.

They're artworks from other sources that are being re-used, I imagine. They're not going to design brand-new full page spreads of characters for the FORUM headers that most of you don't see anyway!
Furthermore, had Marvel or DC ever decided to put one of their "lesser" characters like Cypher, Sue Dibny, or the Bamfs on the cover of an issue RATHER than the same old same old top-earner character like wolverine or batman (Frankly I'm surprised there aren't issues where they appear on the cover twice - like spiderman) I would be happy.
You get plenty of time to admire all of the heavy hitters. This is an issue where we are NOT supposed to worship some new rookie like a god, so they put a rookie on the cover! Naturally, of course, this is an affrontery to all of the players on the forum who insist that their character should have joined instead of peny yin and should be on the cover of the issue and the forum. And that everyone else should have to look at them.
Though that would be nifty, none of you are as good as I am at creating characters.
