Thanks, Texas Justice, but the post was really a backhanded way of suggesting to the people selling this stuff that they might make an effort to show their own merchandise.

I'm expecting a weapon model pack to go along with SF ... and I'm waiting for it. I have a lot of alts, and I don't need to get Staff Fighting right away. I'm looking for a magical spear tip.

On the broader topic of 50% off sales, while some things have already been featured more than once, I'm still waiting for AE arc slots to go on sale.

I'm actually... *impressed*... with Marketing this week.

Along with Staff Fighting, there are sale items for the stuff you'd like to go with a Staff Fighting character:

  • Imperial Dynasty and Martial Arts costume packs
  • Ninja Run
  • Character Slots
  • Melee and Defense SBEs

On top of that, the announcement tells us how to find these items in that less-than-stellar Market UI.

  • Metal
  • Glossy Metal
  • Wood
  • Broom
  • Tech
  • Pipe
  • Pool Cue

And why would there be spears? Spears are stabby things and blood gushing everywhere things. Staff is traditionally more whacky and arresty than killy. (And yes, that means Trident really shouldn't be there unless you rationalize that the Trident is being used to catch weapons and disarm.)

Technically, the Imperial Dynasty costume pack is only featured, not on sale.

Form of the Soul, one of the three Form toggles from Staff Mastery* among other things reduces the endurance usage of your powers.

Oh, yeah, I know what Form of the Soul does. I'm just wondering when Speed Boost started granting global endurance reduction.

First post, the picture of the tiger swinging the trident over his head...

What zone/map is that?

Doesn't look familiar to this 7-year vet...

Maybe something new/someplace we've never seen before?

OMG! Issue 24 new Atlantis Underwater zone!?!?

Well, I don't have a character in mind for Staff Melee at the moment, but the Luck of the Gambler sale was a little too tempting. I'll take three Global Recharge, please. Oh, wait. I already did. I should probably check out Mako's Bite, too. Got a Stalker who wants a lot of those...

Still have to save points for the eventual Retro Sci-Fi costumes, of course. And Beam Rifle at the same time.
