Nine grand (ish) for a custom power set?

How about, say... five grand, and we get improved demorecording and support for it again? Hmm? Prithee? Hmm?

Nine grand if it comes with a videocamera emote. Final offer.

And forget the liger - I want the next pet to be a platypus, damn it! EVOLUTION GONE WEIRD!

Coming in April to the Paragon Market is a whole slew of new items for your characters to further customize and differentiate themselves with, as well as some unique items like we have never offered before!

Custom Power Set

Purchasing this item will get you a phone call from the designers at Paragon Studios who will walk you through the process of creating your very own customized power set of unimaginable power. You decide the Archetypes it works with, what attacks and buffs it has, and what the animations and effects are supposed to look like. Please allow up to 8 months for the power set to appear in the game.

Price: 750,000 Paragon Points
I would so save up for that. Clown Summoning would have been bought by so many people, no? Why make Clown Summoning a joke ;-; I would call it Dimented Circus :P

Main characters:
Shalite - Ninjas/Poison Villain Mastermind. Solo challenger in PvE.
The Gore Melody - Necro/Dark Vigilante Mastermind. Solo challenger in PvE.
Technophile Lila - SJ/Fire Hero Brute. Outstanding Farmer.

It would appear none of the devs have seen the movie "Shakes the Clown." Otherwise, they would know the proper clown pets would be Mimes for the minions, Party Clowns for the lieutenants, and Rodeo Clowns for the boss pet.

Beyond that, however, nicely done.

Did anybody write to the company to tell them they had accepted the "offer?" If I remember the Pepsi Harrier lawsuit correctly, the court said the Harrier Jet for Pepsi points wasn't a valid offer under the statute of frauds because the offer wasn't written down anywhere. In this case, at least something was written down on a website!

The only thing about this April Fools joke that wasn't a valid offer was the part about how the Custom Power set would be available sometime later in April and it wasn't on the Paragon Market yet!

As a coulrophobe, I personally hope Clown Summoning stays as an April Fools... And never as a Halloween trick.

So wait would that be instead of the power set or would it be, like, part of a video recording power set?

Still hate the visit Winscott mission- make it dropable, have it give actual exp or remove it altogether. PS- Down knows who you are.

Honestly? It would be awesome. It would be terrifying, evil, and consistent with some existing comic lore.

But I also realize it might be a bit... specialized.

Your math is off. It's only $9,375 (US).

But hey, now I know what to buy when I win the lottery. >_>

A bargain at twice the price! I'd buy it on both my accounts!

Out of deference to those coulrophobes in the thread, I will not post the standard Joker "Not sure if serious" image in this space.

However, I will ask for a citation relevant to the depiction of insane Buddhist clowns.

Maybe too terrifying.

Maybe too evil.

And yes, maybe too consistent with some existing comic lore.

I just hope this doesn't rule out special agent masterminds in spite of them having no connection whatsoever to clowns for some illogical reason.

Wouldn't the carnies(Carnival of Shadows) be considered to be kinda "clowns"?
They have harlequins n stuff and ring leaders, etc
In a normal circus those types of positions would be considered to be part of the "clown" aspect.... Only these are evil spirit posesed masked type of people.

Then there's the praetorian Carnival of Vengeance (I think?) which are bad
And Carnival of Light... Which I guess are good..

^__^

I am late to the party, but this thread successfully made me laugh like a lunatic.

Especially so with the avatar I am now using.

While I would seriously LOVE to have a clown summoning MM, another option for it would be to make the thug/ninja or mercenary sets customizable as clowns. Yes i would even pay the full 800 pp for this option.

Well... after looking at today's Market items and seeing the Liger in the Pet bundle; I'm beginning to wonder if the 'NOT available' tag was the April Fools punchline (at least for some of the items)...

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

Seriously, the Liger was real....

Wow. I got's a Liger...
