The only thing about this April Fools joke that wasn't a valid offer was the part about how the Custom Power set would be available sometime later in April and it wasn't on the Paragon Market yet! -
My first mm was a thugs/pain. It was fun to have a large personal army that I just kept alive with heals. Also fun to have the dual pistols.
My second mm was Demons/Traps. Very fun and survivable with the FF generator. Liked stacking as many pets as I could with the turrets, the caltrops, the generator, the flash seekers, and the hellfire imps.
Then I made a bots/time. Just wanted to stack as much Defense as possible. Kind of slow at killing until I got assault bot, but very survivable.
Also had necro/therm at one time. Appreciated that it could put up shields and heal. Seemed like a good middle ground between pain and FF.
What I'm saying is all MM are pretty fun, and each plays different. -

Illusion is so good that all secondaries work with Illusion. So an Ill/Dark will be good.
However, there are a few things that really help Illusion have synergy with its secondary:
1. Self-Recharge Buff to help PA and other powers come back faster. (Easier for Perma-PA.)
2. Resistance Debuff to help PA hit harder
3. Defense Debuff to help PA hit more often
4. -Regen to help take down AVs
5. ToHit Debuff to help you survive when PA aren't there (at least in lower levels), or some other mitigation.
6. A self-heal.
7. AoE Damage to make up for the lack of AoE Damage in Illusion.
Rad and Time have 1-6, which is why they are so good with Illusion. You could argue Rad has 7, too, with Fallout, but I don't really count that. Kinetics has 1, 6 and a weak 4. Cold has 2-5. Storm has 2, 3, 5 and 7. Trick Arrow has 2, 3, a weak 4 and a good 7. Therm has 2, 4 and 6. Sonic has 2 and that's about it. FF has 5 from PFF.
What about Dark? No Recharge buff, good 2, no 3, good 4, good 5, good 6, and no 7. -
When the next issue is released, will it be worth it over Ill/kin or Ill/rad?
I like the idea of another pet for controllers. I'm thinking Ill/dark/leviathan and I'll aim for 3 decoys, 1 spectral terror, 1 phantasm, 1 phantasm decoy, 1 water spout, 1 coralax, and 1 Dark Servant out at all times. I'm thinking he's called Lagromancer or Servercrashomancer. -
For your consideration:
There are female minions in the game. Take Soul Mastery, you've got your Fortunatas and Widows.
Off to make Pimp Spider as proof of concept bwahaahahhaahaha. -
Love the new sets. Always trying to find the best combinations for speedster type characters. SJ is great because of fast attack animations, especially initial strike, and TM gives you that speedster feel because everything slows down around you. Wish Superspeed got a more speedstery power than Burnout. Spring attack works though in combat jumping, i.e. jumping super fast and crashing into enemies.
Anybody else been making new speedsters with these sets, or any new combos come up? -
Does anyone else love the new Brawl sounds? So much more 'comic-booky'.

Summoned PA on 1st costume slot where they are purely colored black. Immediately switched to 2nd costume slot where they are pure blue colored.
Wow! A black phantom army shooting blue rays of energy and wielding blue swords. -
My ds/traps is Science origin. He doesn't summon demons. He summons genetically modified Devouring Earth. Gotta love how they belch from the ground.

Does it work?
I would think, with the force fields, dispersion bubble, 2 enforcer maneuvers, mm maneuvers, and 2 io def bonuses, nobody would never feel a scratch. -
Does anyone know if musculature is buffing pet damage?

I'm a DS/trap mm and I have a neat trick/bug/glitch/awesome technique.
Sometimes when I resummon my ff generator before it explodes on its own, my character automatically rebuffs my henchmen with Enchant Demon and Abyssal Empowerment at no end cost. This usually works best when I buff all my guys outside an instance and summon the ff on the inside.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? -
It's funny because there is no information on crabberminds anywhere. If you google 'crabbermind' it pull up this page at the top of the list.

I have some questions about the soldier's summoning powers.
1) Are these pets controllable like mastermind pets?
2) With their long recharge times, are you able to summon them enough to make them part of the way you kill everything?
