SJ and Time for Speedsters

Love the new sets. Always trying to find the best combinations for speedster type characters. SJ is great because of fast attack animations, especially initial strike, and TM gives you that speedster feel because everything slows down around you. Wish Superspeed got a more speedstery power than Burnout. Spring attack works though in combat jumping, i.e. jumping super fast and crashing into enemies.

Anybody else been making new speedsters with these sets, or any new combos come up?

I haven't done any speedsters but...i did do a bruiser type in the way of Brawler T.


He's a StJ/WP broot. As the name implies, and the power sets reflect, he's a down and dirty brawler that just refuses to quit. Also an homage to the great Mr. T. Actually i should say "another" homage. My first one was Ninja T...which was spawned by the weird idea that popped into my head (which also became his bio) "What if Mr. T was a ninja?"

I know someone was doing DP/Time on the forums and using Time as a sort of bullet time effect. I could see that working.

Thanks to this thread I am re-speccing my Street Justice/Willpower to include the speed powers.... Hasten/Superspeed/Burnout. It seems like a cool concept...we'll see how it plays out.
