Isn't there any way they could combine some of these down times? This is getting kind of silly. Down last Tuesday, then again Thursday, then Friday to turn on double xp, and again Monday to turn it back off and now this. I imagine they'll go down again on Thursday again too.
Most of my play time is in the mornings so this really eats into when I get to play.

Most patches come on Tuesdays (not always, but most times), but we don't get a patch every week. The store is updated every Tuesday but it doesn't always require downtime to add those new items. Much of the patch we are getting this week is fixing things (and adding Beast Mastery and Taskmaster Gabriel). People have been wanting several of these fixes since I22 came out.
Trying to push out a patch or update at the same time as server maintenance is not as easy as you would think. We've already had bad experiences when they tried this and wound up with longer downtimes than expected as well as causing additional problems requiring a hotfix.
As for the Friday and Monday downtimes, we don't get Double XP Weekend very often either. How would you suggest they combine the turning on and off of DXP?
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
