You know you've been playing CoX for too long when...

(Kinda reviving an old thread that's been locked for posting by non-VIP's)

... when your smartphone's ringtone is the new i21 Atlas Park theme.

(please do not move this thread to a part that non-VIP's can't post in)

When you see something cool, like a sunset or vista of awesome terrain and want to take a screenshot.

When you try to click the glowie 5 or 6 times but nothing happens and then you wake up.

You have an off night on the tennis court and grumble about a stealth nerf to Accuracy.

you come down a fire escape by walking forward, taking a step to the left, walking backwards, taking a step to the right, walking forward, etc.

When you wish you had Steam jump or any of the jet packs to get to work

You walk down the street and subconsciously superimpose the image of your toon walking ahead of you.

You rarely look at your map anymore,... or even better after playing all night realize it has been closed.

When you can give better directions in Paragon than the town/city you live in.

When you're walking around (downtown, business complex, whatever), see a building, and immediately think, "I should go work on my Architect mission for a while."

When you're driving down the street and get excited seeing a mailbox, because you only need three more for the badge.

... you remember a time when there was no PvP in this game.

....that you remember when you actually wanted to PvP because it was fun

When you refer to your energy drink as 'Speed Boost'.

When you see any kind of historical plaque or marker and instinctively run over to check it...

When you log into any OTHER game (especially one that doesn't have Flight) and realize that what you could so easily reach in COH is damn near out of reach...

When you inadvertently refer to Lync meetings (large Office Communicator hookups) as raid chats...

I turned twenty two and thought 'yes! SOs!'

Then there was a moment of quiet shame.

You feel an overwhelming urge to laugh at anyone waiting at a bus stop.

You only ride elevators for one floor, before switching to another.

You do a server inventory and discover that you have 323 individual creations going all the way back to May of '05, most in the low 20's range, 90% not logged on in years, and your 1st thought is to roll a new concept...

Before you even open your eyes in the morning, the word 'component' springs into your consciouness.

Your dog destroys a chew toy, leaving hundreds of multi-colored threads tangled here and there, and your first thought is 'Jackpot!'

You know exactly what power is being used, just by the sound it makes.

You press your hand flat against a door and wonder why it isn't opening.

When you see one of those black-on-white oval car stickers that says "DA" and wonder what melee set the driver paired with dark armor.
