Webcomic Explains Mass Effect
My brain hurts.
What is that I don't even
Rabbits & Hares:Blue (Mind/Emp Controller)Maroon (Rad/Thermal Corruptor)and one of each AT all at 50
MA Arcs: Apples of Contention - 3184; Zen & Relaxation - 35392; Tears of Leviathan - 121733 | All posts are rated "R" for "R-r-rrrrr, baby!"|Now, and this is very important... do you want a hug? COH Faces @Blue Rabbit
I've played both Mass Effect games to completion and I'm still confused.
Agua Man lvl 48 Water/Electric Blaster
"To die hating NCSoft for shutting down City of Heroes, that was Freedom."
Now, I'm not sure if this is appropriate since it's another game. But it's a webcomic, so that makes it OK. Right?
Mass Effect 3 is coming out soon, so a Japanese gaming site and a artist made a webcomic to explain the series. I've only played a small snippet of the first game, but I know enough to really enjoy this. "Teach me! Professor Mordin!" (translated and is read right-to-left) |
"Civilization advances by extending the number of important operations which we can perform without thinking of them."
Now... is there a video game that explains this webcomic?
j/k, I thought it was kind of funny although I got bored and stopped reading before they got to the point of actually trying to explain the game.
(Sometimes, I wish there could be a Dev thumbs up button for quality posts, because you pretty much nailed it.) -- Ghost Falcon
Amusing, but I prefer the recent VG Cats Mass Effect comic, which more accurately describes what the game is about. However, I probably shouldn't link it due to content.

Farewell is like the end

And there you'll always be

Goodbye, I guess.

I have ME and ME2 on Steam, and I'm not really going to bother with ME3 unless I can add it to my collection there.
Thankfully, I'm a patient guy!
Thought for the day:
"Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment."

I did the first two on the 360, and after playing the demo for the third game I think I'll rent it and maybe not even immediately.

How many folks are going go with the PC version ---> I mention this because I'll be happy to help with the multiplayer missions.

Also, I think EA have really upset people with Origins and it's spyware junk. You know it's quite bad when the German government says you are basically illegal.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Comic wins just for having a Krogan jump out from behind a lamp post and yell "OI!" at a couple of schoolgirls.
Story Arcs I created:
Every Rose: (#17702) Villainous vs Legacy Chain. Forget Arachnos, join the CoT!
Cosplay Madness!: (#3643) Neutral vs Custom Foes. Heroes at a pop culture convention!
Kiss Hello Goodbye: (#156389) Heroic vs Custom Foes. Film Noir/Hardboiled detective adventure!
Mass Peach?
Wasn't aware that Mass Effect needed explaining, but I haven't played the 2nd game yet either, so... *shrug*
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.
All the comic really 'explains' is that mass effect has real choices that can affect the outcome of the current game and subsequent games. The rest is just cuteness and a really shallow plot synopsis.

Just finished replaying ME1 on PC and just started on ME2. I decided to replay through all of them just because I played the first game on 360 and the second on PC, so I never got to import a save file. I figured I would get Maxwell Shepard all squared away for when ME3 hits.
Great, now I'll be calling her "Tali-chan" in my head forever....
360 here too, id go pc, but the first 2 were from a time when my comp was less capable, so it was 360 or 5 frames per second. Might give multiplayer a try, but undecided.
