What? Go away from the world of the Internet and news, and this happens... Well, all I can say is that she was a talented woman, whom I enjoyed listening to as a young boy, and hope that she has found peace on the other side. Who knows... Maybe she's leading a choir in Heaven now.

R.I.P. Ms. Houston. You will be missed.

I believe Rick James said it best, "Cocaines a hell of a drug"

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

Clearly the best voice of a generation has left us today. Very sad news indeed.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

No, that voice left years ago, in Freddie Mercury. Hers was the best female voice, sure, but his was THE best, and most amazing. However, I quibble where I really shouldn't be quibbling.

They haven't topped the Tampa Super Bowl Star Spangled Banner she sang yet. That was by far the best, and still unbeaten. She had an amazing voice, amazing talent, if only her demons would have left her alone.

Quite a shock when I read it. Sorry she's gone.

This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012

Daggum it! I keep hitting the backspace because I just can't seem to formulate the words....
She was one of those truly inspirational singers; heart & soul came through her voice.
Such a sad loss.

Drugs and celebrity.
Two very attractive, dangerous habits that nobody in their right mind should ever partake of.
Too many such habits tend to end just like this.

As shocking as this is to some, I believe that the cause of her death will be 1 of 3 things....

1. OD

2. Heart gave out because of drug abuse (or any other major organ)

3. suicide.... don't know why I am adding this....thinking about the age factor....

I was thinking her heart gave out, because wasn't she getting clean? Couldn't help but think of Eddie Guerrero in this situation, got clean but the years of abuse made it too late...

Although a fine performer in her early day's, recent concerts left a lot to be desired ranging from poor performances, to being outright rude to her fans that came along.

I suppose now we can expect the usual glutton load of jokes to appear from, "Houston we have a problem" to "where the hell was Kevin Costner whilst all this was happening".

Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.

There is a news site that shows she was heavily partying on Thursday and she was being escorted out of the club, and well.....it was clear she wasn't quite sober. Update reports are indicating prescription drug use and possible drowning.

Sad end.

Sad. > Bobby Brown was not the best life choice, it'd be nice to know the scumbag feels some genuine remorse. At least a little more then say Michael Jackson's dad did.

She was found in a bathtub.....so with the following I am thinking something along the lines of Heath Ledger may have happened....

Oh..... I think I have an idea as to what happened... Houston took a medication (legal or otherwise) and thought that getting into a tub of hot water would make her feel a little better... The problem with doing that and not realizing that a rise in body temperature causes the medication to actually become more potent....and more than likely with the organ damage (ie heart) that was done while she was using cocaine...her heart simply gave out.....

Please realize this is just an opinion and I am not a doctor or in the medical profession. I am just recalling some things that I have read in regards to medicines and then getting into a tub of hot water.....

Well last I read was pill bottles were found, she was in the tub, no direct signs of foul play. Coroner states they can proceed with funeral arrangements and has ruled out foul play, toxicology report in the usual 4 to 8 weeks. So if it's all true then yes I'd think something similar to Heath Ledger.
