Our deepest condolences to you and yours, Thorgar. We're sorry to hear that Virtue's community has been diminished, but as you said, at least she knew she was loved.

I knew Salsa mostly as a member of RP Virtue and a few other global channels. When she was around, I knew that the channels I had in common with her would be light hearted and more fun to be in. I mostly remember that she was one of the few people to get my odd Battletech jokes, and the war of the shinies that was present when I first joined RP Virtue. I will miss the humor she brought to the channel.

I never had the chance to meet her.

I'm sorry I didn't.

My condolences and sympathy to everyone who lost a friend.

I never knew her, sadly, but seeing the outpouring of love and sympathy you can tell what a wonderful person she was. I'm one of those people who sheds tears for people I don't even know, so for what it's worth, know that someone out there cried for her. This community is full of wonderful people, and the touching gestures and warm wishes just make me sad that I never had the privelage of meeting her. All my best for your family, Thorgar, and I hope she's found peace.

This, exactly. I've been exclusively on Virtue since the game released. Hearing that one of our beloved members is gone just makes my heart ache.

Not really an appropriate thing to ask on a public forum.

It's alright. Thorgar posted what happened on the second page to let people know. Curiosity is natural, and nothing bad.

Well said Kheldarn...very well said. In a single sentence you've summed up what we've all been saying.

I regret that I only had the good fortune to interact with your wife a few times, Thorgar, and I can't begin to imagine the depth of your loss. However, I honestly think that the true measure of a person's life cannot be counted in the quantity of years they've managed to accumulate, but in the quality of friends they've earned along the way. I also don't believe someone's passage is truly a tragedy so long as we were all more enriched by their presence in our lives than we are diminished by their absence from it.

And yes, your wife had all that. In spades. And then some.

Good luck, and Godspeed.

We've been astranged for the past few years, but I received the news yesterday from @Serge Ta'Null. I offer my deepest condolences to you, Thorgar, and your daughters.

I am relieved by the fact she passed peacefully, though I'm still sympathetic toward the tragedy of losing her. Know that you and your family will be in my prayers.

I found myself this morning looking back on the friendship I had with Tina and Thorgar and for the first time shedding a tear for someone I had not truley known in person, but that I knew more in heart and mind. It saddens me even more that I am unable to truley pay my respects for a dear friend of many years. I looked for a fitting Tribute to my friend, one that would maybe fit how some of us knew her and I found this, I find the song touching, and fitting the roleplay enviorment of those that knew her in such a community.

Tina will truely be missed. She was a good hearted person and I enjoyed the times that I was able to spend with her whether it was in CoH or for the brief time I played WoW. No matter where it was we always had tons of fun laughing, getting into trouble, just good times. She even roleplayed babysitting mine and our friend Jacqui's toon's kids which was histerical, because they were little devils who enjoyed playing "vroom vroom".

I had the chance to talk with her earlier this week and I'm glad I did, but finding out earlier today that she had passed was very sad news, and at first I couldn't believe it. I would like to give my deepest condolences, and best wishes to Thorgar and the girls.

Tina, I am happy that I had the chance of meeting you, and even more happy that I was able to call you a friend for the past couple of years. I will miss you.

---------------------------

I would also like to post a message from Tina's friend Jacqui per her request.

From Temper Mental:
Tina and I spent hundreds of hours talking, giggling and laughing together on ventrilo. We role-played together in more than one MMO and for years I have had the privilege of calling her one of my dearest friends online. She was the type of friend that you could tell your darkest secrets or share your saddest moments and she always knew how to make you smile again no matter how terrible you felt.
We’ve role-played sisters in both WoW and CoH and though we lost touch from time to time, she was always the friend that as soon as we ran into each other, it was as if we never stopped talking because we just picked up right where we left off.
This sad news was passed on to me from a friend and when I read the post it truly felt as if someone had punched me in the stomach. I can’t begin to tell you how sad I am knowing that there will be no more late night giggling on vent or just sitting there gabbing about our day together; no more picking up our conversations as if they never stopped. I can’t even begin to imagine the loss her family is feeling right now and my heart and prayers go out to them. She was a beautiful friend and a wonderful woman who will be missed dearly.
They say that as people come in and out of your life, some leave having made you a better person. Tina was one of those people, a true angel of a friend who I know moved on to a beautiful place.
I’ll miss you Lys.
~Jacqui~

While I too have never met her, Salsakitten sounds like she was a wonderful person. I am saddened by this loss and offer my sincerest condolences to you Thorgar, and your family, and all of the players of this game who mourn her passing. You remain in my thoughts. Be at peace.

I did have a chance to assist and held my torch high for Salsakitten, and even though I may have not had much interaction with her or Thorgar, it is still saddens me. She must have been a great person, due to the length this thread and the amount of people that now mourn for her.

Thorgar, the blessing of all those who have here written something to honor and remember your wife are with you, and I am adding mine as well. My most deepest and sincerest condolences for you, your two daughters and your family, with my best wishes.

I'm... shocked. Just completely taken by suprise. Salsa was always sweet to me, and although I'm sure I was by no means her closest friend here, she always had a special place in my heart. My sincerest condolances to her husband and family in this time of sorrow. You will be missed, so dearly, kitten.
