Love everything about this update so much, except that dog. Kinda just wish we could summon a shadow version of ourselves using the Doppelganger tech, or at least the shapeless Fluffy that Dark users normally get. The dog makes me feel like my dark controller/dominator will also have to absolutely love dogs so much it seeps into his powers.

The new Bloody Bay Trials seems to suggests that they might be planning on making an all-Trial route to 50, which will help the transition into the Incarnate system.

It's also a neat use of assets, as Bloody Bay is usually pretty under-used - this gives them the chance to use it for more PvE content without removing it as a PvP zone.

Seems like a nice issue! But one thing that niggles at my head is:

Assuming Peregrine Island isn't an additional entrance, why can't we use the hazard gate anymore? I mean, I'm sure in-game it's covered by a spooky rocky spike thing, but design-wise. Isn't their point to restrict access to dangeous places? We can even get into Eden through one if we pull in our tummy.

Alternately you're calling forth shadow wolves from some... shadow wolf dimension or something. You tried to summon other shadow animals but nooooo, shadow wolves kept eating them. Damn shadow wolves.

Mainly because the zone is becoming lvl 50 only- they don't want lowbies thinking they can get in...

Well...I guess Diabolique and Numina have greater visual difference now. While the "undressed sorceress" look sorta works, I think it would have been interesting to give her either a flowing robes sort of look or possibly had her pay homage to Samara/Sadako. It is interesting that with the height increase she seemed to also get a higher proportional body mass. Guess she's a first pick if the Powers Division decides to start a football league.

Check out the dom changes that the devs have posted Grav looks like a beast now with all the planned changes.

Her new look might be partly because she's possibly already half a goddess now, and the Trial could be about us stopping her completeing her transformation into death incarnate.

Yeah. I have fond memories of hanging out in DA. BP mask badges are going to become a bit more of a PITA to get now as we'll have to rely on Talos day and night cycles to bring them out if we don't get an echo.

Here's hoping that ALL of the new DA hasn't gone to the zerg. I have a soft spot for the BP's campy, totally un-PC, retro-horror comic book qualities.

And if a dev is reading: Pssst! Echo of old Faultline too if you can plz!

It really could have been a new zone. It would have kept everyone liking the old DA happy.

I think it would have to do with wanting to "advance" the DA storyline, but even that could have been done via a new zone, ie, make the entrance to the new zone in the mausoleum where Adamastor hangs out or some such.

The other reason may be that the new graphics are so far advanced that the old DA would suffer too much by comparison.

Arbiter Hawk posted more Tweaks probably after the preview was designed- here's a summary:

1) Propel animates Faster
2) New Mechanic where anything hit by Grav's hold or immob powers means Lift and Propel do more damage.
3) Dimension Shift is changing to a Targetted AoE Toggle with a 20 foot radius that can be set in Mid-air and anything running into the patch is Immob and Phased.
4) Agro component of Wormhole being Removed, so as long as they don't see you you can hit them with WH and they won't agro halfway through your animation.

The game is rated T for Teen, not M for mature. By definition, this means that it is targeting immature teenager audiences. You should not be alarmed about this.
