Irregardless of you're opinion, their not going to be effected by you.
I hear you. If I have to read such a thing one more time, I will literally explode, and that would be SO ironic.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

I studied English as a foreign language. I never had the luxury of "not knowing" what a word means, because if I didn't know what a word meant, I didn't use it. And if I used a word and someone told me I was using it wrong, I picked up a dictionary and looked it up.
"Language evolves" is not an excuse I've ever been willing to accept when the bulk of the times it's been used has been as an excuse for practical ignorance.

Literally "to pull something out with its roots," it's the perfect descriptor of destroying something completely, such that there's no chance of it coming back. Decimate has its place in the English language, but even examined figuratively, it still means more "wound" or "damage" than destroy.

Specifically, peruse means to go over something with great effort. You peruse a book you want to know by heart.
