Dagnabit! I was really hoping to be done with Saint's Row by now, but it'll probably take me another day. I'm definitely going to buy the set as soon as I get a chance to, however. I burned through my hyperbole about it so the most I can say is I've been waiting for giant sword for six ******* years and I couldn't be happier with how they came out. OK, I liked - I could be happier - but not by much.

OK, what was that about a "weapons pack" for Titan Weapons? I thought this was supposed to come with the set if we purchased right away? Did I hear something wrong?

Aha! Thank you, I found it and bought it. Parting with $0 was hard on my entertainment budget, but I was still able to afford it.

And the weapons are AWESOME! As far as I'm aware, they include four - the tech mace, the meat scythe, the evil sword and the Omniblade. Each of those is a work of art, amazing and well worth the $0 I paid for them. Just those four weapons would easily have been worth $5, though, if I'd missed the promotion. THAT is what I was hoping Titan Weapons would be. I still have to use the Razor Sword on Xanta, though. It's the only medieval-looking sword, and hers is supposed to have been forged.

That being said, titan weapons are only a "maybe" set for me. Just dont see the attraction yet.

Woot, got my Tits/WP (that's the official abbreviation everyone, take note) Brute rolled and even got a sewer trial done in the 10 minutes before the servers went down!
I've been struggling with a concept for my Titan Weapon character since they announced TW, getting access to the first of the Celestial costume yesterday inspired a godlike character and I even got a cool name; "Godbreak". The atomic mace is pretty awesome and fits the character to a tee, I'll try to get some pics up once the servers are back.

Deities, Valkyries, insane Harley Quinn inspired characters using the rocket hammer, Trolls using the stone sledge hammer, anime style characters using the huge swords, those big Lost guys, super-human barbarian, someone in power armor, a scientist who goes all Jekyll/Hyde and turns into a street-sign wielding brute... and probably a few others I can't think of off the top of my head.
I'm still torn between a valkyrie and the scientist vibe myself.
Purchased the set a few hours ago. When I first saw the set on beta I thought I'd want to make a Brute, but I found I didn't like TW with Fury (in the early levels, at least). So I'll probably be going with a Tanker when I get around to it. I'm mired in Skyrim right now, though, and will likely be stuck in it for awhile yet.

As soon as we get Staff Fighting, I will recreate my staff character from that other game taking place in Metropolis, etc, over here. I've been missing her, but don't want to play that game.
She won't have that awesome tattooed skin that they have over there [sigh] but otherwise I can 98% recreate her.
I don't care for the look of these huge weapons, but those of you who do, have at it.
The devs said that enemy groups will use TW too, so maybe Mot will have skeleton guards with giant bone swords? Having some classic animated skeletons to fight would be pretty cool.
