Besides, I already quoted two of the increasingly hyperbolic posts.

strangely enough I saw one in demo for a game recently but it was listed as the 'sex appeal' slider and enhanced certain attributes on both male and female characters in the game ..I think it was Saints Row 3 .

as for a attributes slider I wish the female one went smaller , my grade schooler power puff girl homage looks like she is stuffing her bra .
In all seriousness, this is a complaint I've heard frequently in game over the past two years (since I subscribed), and I was kind of bewildered the first time I noticed how ample the smallest allowed size is.

That's nothing compared to the waist slider. My default for my girls is halfway to the right or more. None of them are anorexic, so... >_>

We need more polygons for our avatars, so there are fewer noticable straight lines on the body.

I think stuff looks pretty organic with anti-aliasing, do you use that? (I know it may sound like a dumb question, but I've seen a lot of players post screenshots where you can tell they don't have anti-aliasing on.)

<.< >.> actually I had wondered why my pics looked more blocky and others looked more 'organic'
going to look under options to see if I have it toggled
I use it, but it doesn't really help with the base avatar model - which is what's used for spandex, as that's just a painted on texture - a lot of the old costume parts, as well as all the new ones have more curves, which hide the lack of curves on the base avatar model.

Just a tip: Anti-aliasing can consume resources. Along with shadows it can be one of the worst offenders. But on its lowest (2x) setting, you will probably notice a significant improvement with a negligible performance impact, UNLESS you find yourself in an occasional zone event like the Praetorian invasion, during which even the highest-end computer users might be wise to disable it. At 4x anti-aliasing on my machine, things begin to look truly life-like (23" widescreen, 1920x1080 res), but I notice a slightly irritating performance hit. Looking forward to my next PC upgrade in three weeks, when this might no longer be a problem!

Do you think it's feasible that we could ever see an upgrade in that aspect? (I'm honestly asking, you seem to have your finger on the pulse regarding upcoming features and stuff.)

Aye, the game as a whole could really use more curves and less obvious polygons.
The worst offender is still the 'skeleton' parts in Atlas Hall, Azuria's room. It...that...yeah, that's like something out of minecraft...where stuff is *meant* to be square XD
Which is a shame, since it's clear they CAN do round stuff (Tommy's skull in the Midnighter Club, on the front desk, makes this perfectly clear and a direct comparison)

You mean two parts guesswork, two parts slight baiting and one part winking?

She tends to be right. It's actually funny because I'm not around the forums a ton (excluding the past couple days), and when I'm reading for new developments, I sometimes search GG's posts along with dev posts.

I developed a new love for the baggy shirts when I noticed this. I have one character who happens to be a prepubescent Praetorian runaway...who apparently has implants....
Heh heh, that's practically what I did. If you have a Microcenter in your area, show up for their one-day, day after Christmas sales. You will probably not regret it.

almost choked on my drink on the last bit , I often use the baggy shirts for the same exact purpose.

Then why not say "Less cheesecake and more actiony stuff like jackets, cool hats and holsters please." which imo, alot of the packs with the cheesecake fit when it comes to what superhero actiony usually entails, and not "You're sexist I'm going to ragequit!"?
Hardly. We're talking about paid for packs. The Celestial armour was both un-paid for (in the sense that it wasn't a booster pack but a Vet reward) and unisex anyway.
And with the 'theme' booster packs, it's a case of 'We don't know what's in them until Beta/Live', whereas with the CoT it was a case of 'We get what the NPCs get'. Mostly, anyway...but thats a whole other kettle of fish. As for name calling, well...what Deebs said, really. This has absolutely sod all to do with ' politically sanctimonious'ness and far more to do with 'Less cheesecake and more actiony stuff like jackets, cool hats and holsters please'. |

But yeah, when you go up to a hornet's nest and give it a few good whacks with a stick, you own what comes out. My understanding is that Noble Savage himself admitted that if they're going to start 'porting everything male over to the female bodyform, that would leave less wiggle-room for female specific pieces. I'd love to be wrong, but I could swear that's what I saw.
