Just the opposite for me. I'm using them on leveling characters and not on 50s since I don't exemp very often at all. The scaling Defense bonus going up with each level, and along with the +Recharge makes for some pretty nice leveling.

2. You're right. I had forgotten that I included the Def/+7.5 piece in my sum which brought the total for 5 pieces above the sale price of 400 points for the whole set. I figured if I was going to spend points, that I might as well pick up the Def/+7.5 just in case I ever wanted to use it.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.
I bought 20 of the +global recharge. I would like to have bought whole sets, but at 5.00 dollars a set, it is just too much to pay.
When the Numina's are released, I'm going to buy as many of the +rec/ +rec as I can, because every toon I have, except for a couple of MMs, has end problems.
As I posted in the feedback thread, if these were availible in the market all the time, I would likely buy them when I needed them, but buying them just in case I could use them makes them too expensive for me.

I bought 10 or 12 of the proc and about 6 each of the def/end and defense ones. I had about 5k points sitting around from deciding to buy up through Tier 9, and I have to spend them on *something* someday. I tend to use either just the proc on squishies and the set of three on melee characters.
I wouldn't buy levels, because I feel like I'd miss out on learning how to play the character. Though I eventually completely IO out my good characters, I don't use Mids; I figure out how the character plays as they level, and decide eventually what the build will be. I'd miss all that by getting free levels, and would not feel like it was *my* character.
I know how to grind A-merits on SSAs or hero tips, and I spent enough time marketing to make a couple billion, then stopped. I know how to get my LotGs the hard way, but I value saving that amount of time over the money it costs, especially since it's sitting around unused anyway. Might buy more before the sale ends, especially if I get around to doing a respec or two and using up what I bought.

I lol at the fact of people buying enhancements with real money. I might play once every three days and yet I still have enough influence to purchase about 50 of these at buy it now price. If you're smart and spend 10mins a day you can laugh at purchasing these in store and buy them in game.

I know someone who has billions of inf and all their chars are outfitted with purples and PvP IOs. And they still bought a bunch of these. I doubt it's an inf thing.

Actually, if a person is smart, they would realize there is a difference in attuned I/O's since they scale up as you level up and regular set I/O's do not. Case specific of course, but the attuned I/O's have some benefits low level that regular set I/O's do not and never will.
This of course is a YMMV deal.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Yup. The set-it-and-forget-it aspect of the MarketOs is really attractive. I've got a couple sets of KC and a bunch of LotG pieces just waiting to go in my TW character. It'll be a nice change to have defense squared away as soon as I get the powers, rather than fussing with SOs and lowbie IOs throughout the levels.

15 of the procs, 10 for one account and 5 for another.
They're going into 3 characters to get them the full bonus, and that's it. No deep thought on this one.
