No more Help For Freems?

I keep track of all the Dev and Community digest posts and I've seen nothing along those lines. Call it rumor mongering until there's an official statement.

This reminds me of the time someone said they were nerfing Willpower and Help Channel descended into a profanity-filled request for a redname post, and when no one could find it someone said "IT'S ON TEST IT WAS A STEALTH NERF" it just got worse. If you hear something that stupid in Help, ignore it.

There's a thread about RMT spamming in Help. That may have started some rumors.

I was in the supermarket and I saw a magazine that said there were bat-people on the moon. Can anyone confirm this?
Well, I would be surprised if the devs haven't at least thought about it, given the RMT spam. I don't see an easy solution to that problem unfortunately; either block access and hurt the froobs, or maintain access and enable the spammers.

The thing about that particular rumor is that it was said by someone who is a long standing player and actually tries to help people in the Help channel, so it was unlikely to be a troll or anything like that.
But I also check the community/dev digests fairly regularly and I couldn't remember anything along those lines. I also went back a few pages in both and couldn't find anything, so I'm guessing they were just misinformed about the dev post.
That being said, it would not surprise me at all if the notion had crossed the dev's minds. I would strongly disagree with the idea, but it wouldn't surprise me.

We used to use that rag for source material in some of our RPG's. The GM would send us out to investigate various stories. Twas great fun.

That's the thing about Trolls. Since we got our rights we're everywhere, not just under bridges anymore. Look to your left, look to your right, 1.37 of those people are trolls.

Someone in the help channel on Justice was claiming there was a dev post indicating that they're thinking about taking the help channel away from Free Players. I think my Search-Fu is average and I didn't see anything especially in the Digests.
