Ok, logged in briefly for some KB testing. L50 energy blaster, location 1 Kings row, around the parking lot opposite the vault, enemeis L6 skulls. Blasted their corpses back some 10-15 feet. Bit of a decreace in usual KB distance.

Location 2 PI, enemies L47 nemisis, rikti and carnies. KB, 1-3 feet... ummmm definatly not right.

If it's the same bug that I bugged in beta; she's an EB.

Holy crap that's awful. How someone who has to dial their settings down that far is going to deal with a CARNIE EB... ouch.

And you bugged this in beta too? Seriously, who let this thing go live? >.<

And apparently Carnies have a higher-mag hold now? Getting held pretty quickly on my brute.
Edit: This is, as of this afternoon, a verified issue (we'll have a known issues list going up soon).

This was something that was happening on the beta server, and that I *believe* was reported. I was part of a foursome of Titan Weapon characters of various levels that were running radio missions in Peregrine Island. On two separate Carnie radio missions, Vanessa appeared multiple times as an Elite Boss spawn. I'm not sure WHY a EB would be spawning on a radio mission, but she was, and often. No EBs spawned during radio missions with other enemy factions.

A version of VD was, for lack of a better term, miscategorized, causing this to happen.

We should have it fixed in an upcoming build.

Since the update I Have PHYSX>CPU in the top left corner of the screen I have A GForce GTX 560 Ti don't know how to get ride of it, not sure if this is a bug or not

As much as I'd like to take credit for what you are talking about...I don't remember teaming with TW toons and noticing the Carnie EB bug.

Only time I saw it was when I was on my Mind/Emp. Controller and was solo'ing....

Maybe I was playing CoH in my sleep though?

I'm probably mistaken. This particular beta - such as it was - was a bit of a blur to me.

WHAT. THE. HELL?!

Holy crap, this patch is broken.

I can confirm the knockback bug, the UI resetting bug, and the horrible placement on the 'Collection' window.

The knockback bug is seriously game-breaking for me. It's like all knockback has been turned into knock-down. This is... not workable, in any sense.

Additionally, the 'Long Range Teleport' door in Peregrine has been removed. I figured that was not WAI, but you guys could have logged the change in the patch notes.

I remember reading that there was a change to fix the estimated wait time on trials. I do not see that in the patch notes. Is it in or not?


Seriously, this is a roll-back quality patch, even with the trial changes. Roll it back and push the 'Future Build' version when it's ready. In many ways, the game is broken beyond playability for a LOT of characters.

Considering the location of Peregrine Isle and how it's disconnected from everywhere else with just a ferry linking it to Talos, it could have been a feature. Move it closer to the Portal Corporation buildings, have couple talking NPCs outside it saying they've made an experiment of localizing portal tech to teleport people over Paragon City.

Ah well, such a waste.

I'm not saying your qualifications for what necessitates a Rollback are wrong or inadequate, but If my customers were to start asking, 'Why is my UI suddenly broken?', I'd personally roll back a production build back on that qualification alone. I'm not trying to grief you, Z or the devs, so please don't take it that.

Adding in the other bugs, which are at least character breaking if not game-breaking, it seems like a straightforward decision.

I know that when I make major changes in a production environment, I keep a spreadsheet of essential steps necessary to back out a change. (This is usually reviewed a few times and gets devs, operators, and at least one manager to sign off on it.) Perhaps its time to consult such a spreadsheet if you guys have one?

Hopefully you didn't make any irreversible database changes?

I heard other folks on Victory trying to figure out how to reload their last window configuration. If you don't roll back, I would at the VERY least, set the GMOTD with instructions on how to reload their saved window configuration.

Again, I apologize if I sound like I'm howling. I'm certain you guys are getting it from all directions this evening and that it's as frustrating for you as it is for everyone else.

Add another confirmation to the "KB Issue" pile, Z...

I just signed on to my Archery/Energy blaster to try this out. He's got his punch specificly slotted for KB (It's his answer to things that insist on trying to melee him. ) and typically he can launch even-level minions to the far side of an average-width room.

As-of this afternoon on live, he can only send them about a third of that distance. At most.

Life's going to be rough for him until this gets fixed.

On the good side, I also tried Knock Up with my claws stalker and that at least seemed to be working. I didn't notice a lot of difference there. Whisper was still bouncing goons off their feet with her ranged attack as usual.

For that to work, the players would have needed to have SAVED their window configuration previously.

Um, yeah Zwill... Many of us are well aware of that fact. You always try to keep us in the loop (well, as well as the Paragon handlers will allow), and we realize you are just doing your job. However, the breaks far outweigh the fixes...
