I want a Stalker superteam...

I'm way late to the party, but enjoying stalkers as I do, and needing an excuse
to make a new one, I'll see what I can whip-up on Exalted on a "overflow" basis.
Most of my other stalkers are soloists (1 duo'er), so a teamed Stalker intrigues
me.

Sunday afternoons (MST/PDT) are better for me than Wednesdays, but I already
have a number of "pre-planned" sessions I run, and a bunch of active toons
atm, so I'd be a fairly irregular member (hence the "overflow" status).

I'd most likely be making a DM/? (Nin, WP, ?).

Regards,

It looks like the builds also revolve around incarnate stuff... I believe that gets disabled under lv45 according to the paragon wiki =o
Caltrops is autohit I thought =o so woudn't it be better to use a recharge io instead of the acc/dam hami-o? Or do the procs get boosted by +dmg and +acc?
Also woudnt makos bite proc be better on GC or DA since those are petty spammy powers in the rotation.. AB only gets used once, maybe twice per fight... or can the proc crit?
Maybe get physical perfection at lv35 and push weave to 49.. that boxing at 35 doing nothing is kinda bugging me but I dont know if its worth it or not

Though already this is a great help, it lets me put slots into powers with a lot more peace of mind and start planning out how much money I need and what I can start buying first~ Thanks ricohdah =o

You would lose the incarnate abilities at lvl 46. I didn't know Caltrops is an autohit so a recharge or damage IO would work out fine as procs do not get boosted by the hamios. Overtime, the Achilles Heel will help do more damage then a Mako's proc. I put a LotG into DA just as a mule for the 5th LotG but it can easily be put into Hide or Ninja Reflexes. Procs do not critical but on average the proc in AB will do more damage than the 6th Crushing Impact IO. The damage for AB is already in the red due to ED. You are losing 8 hit points of damage per hit for the 20% chance to do 70 hit points more damage.

The incarnate powers aren't necessary to run the build. One was to provide a little more endurance/damage. The other was to run a better attack chain. Agility Alpha would be cool as well. The core provides 45% end/33% rech/20% def; radial also provides 33% movement speed.

I will be playing my stalker tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov 16th @ 6:00pm PST. I will stay online to get as many players to lvl 20 as possible. See you all there!

While already being on the topic of future Alignments (somewhat), I would like to ask your opinions on my toon's direction. BS/Will, named Icarus Bright and is doing the Resistance Crusader arc (meany beany :P). Although it might sound cliche, her theme on Primal Earth is to become some sort of executioner. I know, original :P Thing is, though, she's my first stalker with this actual theme.

Nonetheless, of the two "grey" alignments, Rogue and Vigilante, which one do you guys think she'd fit under the best? Way I see it, both Alignments could work, all depending on the ends of the means. A Rogue would be an executioner for money, where a Vigilante would do it to keep the streets clean (or if more villainous vigilant, to be close to just outright killing whoever she thought deserved it). Any help?

I feel, despite the roots, that Vigilantes are closer to Villians and Rogues closer to Heroes. So, I'd lean towards the Vigilante who's executing those he feels are guilty.

I concur, and so do other's in-game, so I for one will go blueside. Regarding that, earlier we discussed the level to be at prior meeting later. I understood it that way that we agreed on being level 20, and perhaps have crossed the Rift prior to meeting tonight. Is this a general consensus or have I misunderstood something?

It looks like people are pushing for going blueside and then running Vigilante coming out of Praetoria. As someone who plans on taking Soul Mastery - specifically Shadow Meld - as soon as possible, I'd really rather come out red and then just run the tips to become a Rogue, staying there until 35 and then swinging around past hero to Vigilante (to get the accolades blueside rather than staying Rogue since that seems to be the desire) if that's the end alignment we have in mind. Otherwise those taking Patron Pools will end up doing 50 tips and 5 alignment missions instead of 30 and 3.

You can also pick and choose how you want to get accolades that way - nothing prevents you from running the TFC task forces as a Rogue, and you'll get it when you get to switch after the patron arc at 35 - which is the first level you'd be able to get TFC anyway, get Demonic (which is much easier than Archmage), and decide for yourself if you'd rather get Born in Battle or Portal Jockey without having to do a full lap.

I'll go with whichever, but I've already found myself having run full circles around the alignment before on my first batch of Praetorians because I came out heroside and realized that I actually wanted to take Patron Pools on a couple of them (specifically Soul Mastery on the Brute and Scrapper for Gloom and Shadow Meld respectively).

I'm going Red/Rogue, for both availability on PPP's and 'cause Red-side is cooler.

Isnt it good if we have people on both sides? That way we'll have a few people that start missions on both sides.

How was today's session (was there even a session tonight?)- I'll try to get closer to lvl20 before the weekend: I prefer rogues myself, so I'll be going redside, but don't think the separation will matter for long: I can zip through all the tips over two days no prob

Todays session is still going on for some of us

Almost done though. We're playing in First Ward. (trying to get my debt-ridden *** to 20)

So, what level are you all around? 22? 25? And have you chose sides?

As stated, I plan on going blueside and become a vigi, but that's really only because of my theme! I wouldn't at all mind going redside and get the accolades over there, just doesn't fit to the concept plans I have for my toon (which aren't that many)

I just barely hit 23, with Fullthrottle being more or less the same. Rest are 20-21 with a few straggelrs a bit under 20.

Sounds fair enough. Have the 20+ left Praet? (Not counting in First Ward here)

I havn't and havnt seen anyone actually have. But two did say they were gonna go red/blue->gray or something before sunday came.

Man o man am I lagging behind...I should of just went redside and did the DFB runs to get my level up.

Edit: Yeah, I'm going to scrap my toon and go redside and then get to 20 so I can work on going to rogue.

I'd join up, but Sunday afternoons are a bad teaming time and I'm pretty much on Virtue all the time. I'll cheer y'all on, though!

And if you need inspiration: DB/EA. Or just about anything /EA. Its very pretty.

We played for almost 5 hours! My eyes started to hurt and can see images of Build Up when I closed them. Here's a url to an animated gif of the action. It's jumpy, I probably incorrectly centered the screenshots while creating it. I won't post IMG code as it's kind of big and I will probably get banned from the forums: http://i39.tinypic.com/neddp0.gif

I am going to pop over to blue side. The thought of the Ironman, Gangbuster, Deathless and the 9 Mayhem mission exploration badges gives me a headache.

How many people are still trying to hit lvl 20 to leave Praetoria? I like Negate's idea. It would be faster to level red/blue side. 2 runs of DFB will bring a player from level 1-10 in 30 mins which will be in range of the Positron 1 TF. I think the Virgil SF is lvl 15 so 4 runs of DFB (1 hr) to be eligible for that.

I'll stay in Praetoria another day if there are players around lvl 15+ to get to 20 this Sunday. Will turn Vig over Mon/Tues. Let's aim for our first TF/SF next Wednesday! Silver Mantis or Sister Psych.

Thinking on Accolades, I'd say start with Posi Blueside, and work our way through the TFC requirements. We can pop Red-side if we've not enough to run the next TF in level range and work through those as well.

Also, sadness, I missed the .GIF cut again!

Me too Errant, me too. I really feel left out of the action when I am not in on those .GIFs ;(

Btw, status for me so far: I am now a Primal Praetorian (blue)! I am doing the protean arcs to get tips and expect, at some point, to begin the vigi tips when I'm done with Nancy's arc (as I already have three if memory preserves). But yeah, if anyone else of y'all have crossed over to PC, you can see if I'm online, then we can do some vigi tips! My global is @Difficult One.
