Like you can use a machine gun to fight ninjas but that still not the same as fighting them with martial arts

Yeah .. they just threw some similar things together, and called it a bundle. Meh. Nothing for me to spend the points they aren't giving to me on.

Seriously...I've been gone a while, but 1/2 a day downtime for this?
The Dev's #1 job these days seems to be justifying their employment. They mifgr was well stand on a desk and scream "look how hard we are working!"

I find this week's market item to be an interesting experiment. It's not something I'm interested in getting, but I like the direction the devs are going here. It shows we'll be getting a fairly diverse array of stuff in the market for which we can trade points. A little outside-the-box thinking is always good.
As for pricing, that gets the standard response. Is there something else in the market I'd rather spend that amount of points on? If yes, this item falls somewhere into the spectrum of want <-----> don't want and gets looked at again later. If no, then *bang*, I'll trade in those points as soon as I've got enough available.
Right now, powersets sit at the top of that queue for a lot of folks. But the right item can push them back. (The Halloween Costume Pack did it for me.) I definitely approve of the devs thinking creatively whilst looking to create must-have items.

Also: Six years of casual play begins to look an awful lot like one year of hardcore play.

Two new trials and a new powerset seems like plenty to me for an issue update. You don't need to pad that with stuff they were working on last summer. That kind of arguing just cements your reputation further.

I was hoping for a different costume fix.
I've got characters who can't edit costumes and it cost them influence and tokens to find that out the hard way. I was hoping the Arachnos Mace costume bug was getting treated, but, sadly, that was not the case.

Looks like another week I'm skipping. Well, at least this is making it easier to save Paragon Points.
I gotta say... this week's release was pretty lame.
My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor

I can appreciate the Market getting new items that are testing the waters, gauging interest in what might sell. I for one won't be buying this. IF it was account wide and a bit cheaper I might have, for the off chance I could find use for the bundle on random characters.
That's two weeks in a row for me but at least I'm saving some money! Just wished it was something of interest to me since it's my bday week. ;P I actually was hoping it was the Murder of Crows CCE. heh
