Did you come back to Victory?

Interested to see who from the old days came back that used to play on Victory. I'm already seeing a few familiar faces, are you one of them?!

I came back to victory.

You never left!

I left and came back to Victory after a year and a half hiatus. ... Though that was years ago, now.

^That.

But then I left CO for EQ2. Then I took a break from that and was playing Sims games. I haven't had a lot of time to devote to mmorpgs, so Isos once a week works out well for me.

I can't believe it's been 2 years since I played here. Time flies.

True that. Time seems to go slow and fast. Feels like I've been married to my wife for my whole life (which is a good thing), but then it's really only been five years. Crazy!

I always come back to the City and Victory and I don't cancel my subscription anyway. I tend to play other games for a few months and then bam CoX got me gain.

I guess you can say that I came back. Basically my girlfriend, aka snowy, bought me a PS3 for Christmas. I'm really more of a console gamer at heart, this is one of the few PC games I have ever played. At any rate the PS3 was new and shiny, and sucked me away from CoH for quite awhile. I think it was good because I was getting frustrated with the game and taking that break really put things into perspective for me. I'm coming back enjoying the game like I haven't had in years, and now just sitting back and letting other people sort out teams and raids and crap. Sometimes being "new" again is good because I do not have to worry about keeping up with the Johnsons so to speak. Looking back, I took this game way too seriously before. Now it's time to have fun.

Yup, breaks can certainly help you appreciate the game a lot more. I know I enjoyed the game a lot more, and its many improvements during the time I was gone, after I came back.

And my motto for games is that they're games. They shouldn't be work. When I was in a BF1942 and then BF2 clan, I didn't mind "practices" for a game, because it was fun. The second it became work or not fun, I gave it up. Its' another reason I don't play WoW.

I'm back again, after not playing for a year. I blame my roommate entirely.

I'm surprised to see so many of the old guard still around.

Well... we're still glad to have you back. Does that count? I'd rather that than posts about how people went to some other server.

To be honest, most of the people who went to other servers were ones we were hoping to go anyways. Or permabanned. One of the two.

I came back in August after about 2 years away from the game. I always come back to Victory though. I've tried other servers in the past, it just didn't have the same feel.

I've always been a casual player, so most people don't know me. I'm always lurking in VB and Victory Forum though. Something about the people of Victory I just like.

Welcome back. Feel free to join in events and shout out when you would like to form a team. Little things like that help keep the server an active one.
