Just doing a quick restart of the log in/auth servers. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

I got mapserved out of Exalted, and no can't log back into the game at all.

And Mar was about to launch into his spiel about how his injury is a symbol of pride and he shouldn't get his tusk fixed/replaced too. PAH!

When we do quick maintenances that take less than 5 minutes we usually don't post an announcement. These happen all the time. Now if everyone got kicked from game, that, to my knowledge, was not expected.

Asking about it now.

I was not logged into the game and someone IM'd me about being mapserved out, then being unable to log back in. I tried logging in, and could not, receiving the message that the game couldn't talk to the login server.

It passed a few minutes later.

Basically medieval unicorns were mostly horselike with a goat's beard and cloven hooves. The oldest known versions had them looking more like oxen or donkeys, often very large and fearsome.

So i retract my earlier assertion. The oldest unicorn legends ranged from something like a donkey to enormous and fearsome beasts. It's the medieval versions that had them being more often horselike in their body shape, though often with other features taken from deer, goats and similar animals.

Still, unicorns are less like horses than zebras are like horses. Cloven hooves, goatlike beards and a horn are not very horselike traits. Neither is having a head shaped like a stag's.
