Well, Fallen Earth is a no-go for me. I'm having a problem with the game not being able to find the correct graphics card. It's been a known issue since January this year, and nothing has been done about it yet. I'm glad it's a F2P, as I'm deleting it now.

I'll look into Rift. Has anyone played Continent of the Ninth Seal? I just watched the trailer for it, and it looks pretty good.

Does The Secret World have a trial? I'd like to give it a try. Also, is it possible to subscribe to the US servers? The subscription in the US is cheaper than UK.

I think I'm going to try a few of the F2P MMO games such as Vindictus and Raiderz, before I decide whether to sub to Tera or not.

I'm currently playing the trial of Tera, and I'm really enjoying it. It looks good, and is fun to play.

Yep, it's £11.49 compared to CoH's £8.99.

Thanks for all the responses. I've downloaded the Tera trial, and am going to give it a go. I'm not interested in another NCsoft game, so Guild Wars 2 is a no-go for me. I was considering The Secret World, but then I found out how expensive the subscription was per month.

Now, I have a shortlist of four MMO games which I'm tempted by, none of which being superhero based as the alternative superhero MMO games don't appeal to me. The list is as follows (in no particular order): Raiderz, Tera, Vindictus, and Battle of the Immortals.

All the games I mentioned look good, but I have no idea which to choose out of the four. Has anyone played any of these games and could recommend one to me, or maybe played a similar game to any of these which they could recommend instead? I'm swinging more toward Raiderz or Tera, but your opinions will help a lot as the majority of you are veteran MMO players who know what you're on about when it comes to these kinds of games. Oh, and I don't mind paying a subscription, as long as it's not too expensive (around CoH price per month).

I got my refund in full for a month subscription.

Probably NCsoft giving one more **** you to the community, before they boot us off and close the game down.

Cheese Slicer would probably shrug his shoulders, then tell me he's off to Millennium City to make their villains hail the Big Cheese.

A few years ago, I sometimes used to go to the top of the Atlas statue, invite new players to team with me, then TP them off the top of the statue to what they thought would be their death... I'm a very bad person!

I'd happily play the game if SOE got it, even if it meant starting all over again. I know everything about all of my main toons, and would easily be able to remake them.

I'll be there! We need to take plenty of screenies for the Union facebook page, and just for memories sake. I'll bring either Cheese Slicer or Dolcelatte Destroyer.
