I may use the new server to test some builds and save a name or two just in case, but otherwise I am sticking to Virtue unless my friends make a mass exodus.

The only reason why I am making alts there is becaise I am out of slots everywhere else, oh, and the severe alto-holicism may have something to do with that! I'll probably have the new server filled in a couple hours of creating. Besdies...no names are taken there yet! And I have several good ones (in my eyes) that I know (if I am lucky enough) that I will only get there and no place else.

Champion is the home of Tanker Tuesday, why would I go anywhere else after seven years.
In time Exalted server will be an empty novelty, like Pinnacle and Infinity..
I'll be playing some new toons on Exalted just to use some names I've always wanted, but I won't be leaving Virtue. Plus, I want to enjoy that new server smell.
Turns out I wouldn't be able to play on the Exalted server even if I wanted to. I just loaded the game up (love the new music and stuff) and Exalted is at the bottom of my server list. When I scroll down to the bottom, it shoots straight back to the top. So I can't click any of the bottom servers on the list.

I might make the odd alt there, but I'm not planning on "relocating" there ...
... provided that the culture of the "public" servers in general and my primary server in particular don't change dramatically once they become open to a potentially larger pool of players. For example, say that a server gets informally chosen by a few existing players and some newcomers as "the PvP server," and all that ever gets done there is some PvP, a bit of powerleveling (it'll always be with us in one form or another, no matter what system gets put in place to control it), and lots of smacktalking in Help and Broadcast. If that happened to my home server, I might decamp for other pastures. Only time will tell.

I'm passing on it. I'm not going to be using my points to transfer my characters there, given the other goodies I could use it on. Well, not that I could realistically transfer 24 characters there anyways but I digress. The fact that I can't move my very own VG there is also a deal breaker.

I don't really have a "home server", but i'm not going to turn down another server full of free slots. I promptly made 4 characters. Steel Sovereign (Bots/Time) and Flame of Entropy (Fire/Time Corruptor) redside; Mistress Arcana (Psi/Dark corruptor) and Winterwrath (Electric/Ice stalker) heroside.

I successfully claimed every single name I attempted to. Maybe that speaks more of my bad taste than the naming situation, but they were all one-actual-word, super hero sounding things. That was this morning just before maintenance, not last night during the insane, unplayable rush, too!

You can still farm just fine, albeit a bit slower than before.
all I did was keep clicking random serves till it moved up the list :P
