I like pairing sets that can get to the cap in slows or can combine effects to lock down bosses.
Such as:
Archery and Dark Manipulation on a blaster - Stunning Arrow and Dark Pit will stun a mob and the boss in the middle, leaving only the LTs to attack. You then use Soul Drain and trigger Rain of Arrows. I can't remember if it's Dark/ or /Dark that has the heal...
Thank you, City of Heroes, for giving me a superhero social network combined with amazingly smooth game play. Petitions signed with realistic expectations.
Think I'll start with a Fire/Dark Blaster, then possibly a bots/time MM. Maybe Demons/Time.
Dual Blades/Ice Armor Stalker. I do not think anyone would think of making this combo muahaha.

something/time corruptor
beam/sonic corruptor (though not guaranteeing I will actually buy beam yet, depends how the other 2 go)

Once Street Justice is out then either a StJ/EA scrapper or StJ/Regen Brute
Fire/Poison Corruptor. Maybe a Fire/Time too.

Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?

While it's not coming for I21, I had an idea for a Street Justice/Shield Defense Scrapper.
but now I realize that War Mace has a Baseball Bat option, and that makes me think I might create the character NOW as a War Mace/Shield Scrapper.
Assuming War Mace and Shields get along well. I don't know, all I know is that Shield Defense doesn't like certain melee sets.
(but then I'll have to come up with ANOTHER concept for a street justice character.... I'm sure I can deal with that

I want to make a Plant/Storm Controller who is a wizard of sorts and I kinda have a costume. But. BUT. I am drawing a total blank on what name I want. SUCH ANGUISH.

I don't know why the difference here - all other rain powers where either left at the blaster level for both (ice storm and blizzard for example) or if adjusted down it was done for both corruptors and defenders (the corruptor/defender rain of arrows both do roughly the same damage, even if it is less than the blaster version).

I think I'll be making Time in a number of flavors....
Ill/Time Controller - Can make the PA's "echos" of past/future soldiers
DP/Time Corrupter - Bullet time baby!
Ice/Time Corrupter - Doesn't thematically match, but that combo just seems brutal
Robots/Time MM - Just thematically seems to fit well
I hope I don't end up disappointed in the Time Manip set....

i made a servers full of new toons on 2 accounts and saved all the names i wanted

Its level 22 currently (if you powerleveled your Time toon, you suck big time!) and soo much fun!
