Burnout – By sacrificing a large amount of Endurance for a short time, the user can instantly recharge all of their Primary and Secondary powers.

Anyone know current beta numbers as far as recharge for the power?

The base recharge of the power is 30 minutes. Just to clarify, it doesn't increase your recharge for any length of time, rather it instantly recharges everything.

So you could do something like - Heat Loss > Nuke > Burnout > Heat Loss > Nuke and that would be a wonder to behold........

Copied from my post in the Scrapper forum:

Double Soul Drain
Double Build Up
Double Fiery Embrace?
God-Mode *Wait for it to wear off* -OC-God-Mode
Build Up>FE>Burn>Lightning Rod>Spring Attack -OC- Build Up>FE>Burn>Lightning Rod>Fire Ball>Judgement (OMFG!)
Instant Healing *wait till it wears off* -OC- Instant Healing

These combos aren't something you can do all the time, but when you can do them it's gonna make you feel like a total badass. *not a scrapper* but I just thought of dropping two Acid Mortars and 2 Poison Traps and 2 Triage Beacons on my /traps

Double Fiery Embrace shouldn't do anything. It just sets a flag for your powers saying "You can do this extra thing while in this mode" it shouldn't matter at all if you have that flag twice.

It still works for Dominator's Embrace of Fire though.

The knock to your endurance is 25 points.
On a character of 100 points of endurance, I went down to xx/75
Pretty big hit there. ;-)

Correct. Just tested that while making my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0oljtXO9B8

Yeah it's that awesome.

Hmm... 2x Embrace of Fire with 2x Water Spout?

The new tier 5 for the leaping pool. It's very similar to Shield Charge in use and function.

Spring Attack is the new Tier 5 power in the Leaping Pool. It's basically a teleport-esque attack in the vein of Lightning Rod and Shield Charge (tho i expect much crappier). You select it by having at least 2 powers from the Leaping Pool...and the earliest you can pick it up is level 14.

RaikenX is currently seeking new quotes to add to his signature.
Someone say something funny.

How does spring attack's damage compare to lightning rod / shield charge? I understand it's less damage, but by how much? Is it a worthwhile attack?

It seems pretty good. In the video I posted, towards the end I used it against a group of enemies that hadn't aggro'd on me. I'm not sure what my +dam situation was, but it did around 250 damage. It would be great for someone who doesn't have much AoE to begin with. I think maybe the recharge is a little too long for what you get out of it.

Thanks, I've been looking for a video of Spring Attack.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

tier 9 godmode with burnout is sik,
the +rec you get with a godmode wont affect your end much, hit burnout just before the drop then instant godmode once again, you still get the end/hp loss depending what godmode you using, but that will quickly recover, also was testing with regen, instant dull pain/instant healing/mog,regens gonna be more OP than ever in pvp lol.

also i had a base recharge of around 80% w/o hasten, and burnout was down to around 16 mins recharge,be bit less with hasten used

So wait, does this mean I can run my Necro/Dark and have multiple ghosts and servants up thanks to burnout? i.e. Both Grave Knights go down so I summon Fluffy and then hit soul extraction, Burnout, summon another Fluffy and then hit soul extraction again?

Cause that would be sweet.

Multiple Gang Wars?

If the powers allow to stack then i guess so

Double Rage with a single crash sounds pretty nice.

Dark Servant doesn't stack. It will replace the old one. I'm not sure about soul extraction.

I could see a Stormie taking advantage of this to throw out an extra T-storm and Tornado.

More accurately implying that among the 20 inspirations I have on hand, at least 1 of them is a Catch a Breath (or higher tier). The odds of this being the case are very, very good.

Around 2/3s the damage of Shield Charge (65ish vs 100ish) and a 2 minute recharge as opposed to 90 seconds.

It's actually a 90 seconds recharge.

Ya, power description on beta says 2 minutes, but it is definitely shorter than that. It also was ~70 damage at 50 on my pb (do AT mods affect pool attacks?).

Power description on beta says 1 minute 30 to me, strange. Must be buggy.

And yes, AT mods affect pool attacks.
