Odd. Comparing the two pictures, it seem's that each mac user is having their own problems with different fonts. I noticed that one word that showed up on one of the pictures didn't in another...
Still progress. Good job dev's! Get through that last hurdle so ALL (pc AND Mac user) of us can play freedom on live!

I was able to get the repair to work and then I started creating a new Beam character (by buying beam through guess which buttons were checkout and such) and when I clicked to finish, it froze and I had to Force Quit. Now I cannot get the game to launch. I tried repairing again and then clicked "Play Now" and nothing happens. So, I can no longer test the store or Beta.
And my fonts were messed up as well.

After several instances of accessing the Paragon Market with no problem (except the font issue, of course), it finally raised an exception, right after accesing the reward token screen.
I thought I had copied the message text, but it seems the copy didn't work - I will try to reproduce the issue if possible and provide more info if possible.

Please address these issues soon! I do like some of the new features but I won't like them so much if I can't USE them.
Luckily my spouse has a pc, so I can access the market and such if I login via his computer but... I hate using his pc, I waited until there was a mac version for a reason. For the most part, I haven't had too many issues other than lag from hell. It seems to be worse on the beta with my Praetorian toons than on the live servers.
Well yay! I shall test heartily! However.. I am betting the font issue is indeed for everyone. Still that's progress! And as I promised.. here's the cheesecake for the team!
(spit.. how do you post a picture in the forums? I have a tastey picture of a cheesecake for ya all! AHH! I fail! ::faints:: )

But it makes getting the 5 extra costumes even more sweet when I do finally get them :3 cause 5 isn't enough anymore with all the awesome costume stuff they add

This is most unusual. I got in! (after the repair) and then was able to see the market.. READ the market.. even use the market! But then after a few.. the market locked up and I couldn't log out or quit or anything.
So I force quit. And then now when I go to the NC launcher.. I can't get beta to launch again. Still I can confirm that the graphics settings were WAAY updated and that finally it fits to my screen and at the proper resolution! It looked SMASHINGLY better than it did before! However.. now it seems that if it's crashed, I can't get back. I'm attempting to run the repair again.. but it then crashes the launcher. heh.

To the people that cant get the game to load up again after it crashes using the market, and have repaired the beta again, and it still isnt working - Try this: Go to Finder>Library>Preferences>City of Heroes Beta Preferences. Delete the City of Heroes Preferences folder, and try playing it from there.
This is what I have to do EVERY time I reboot the beta AND the actual game, and i've been doing it for months. I'm no tech expert, but it could work.
I was able to log in, bring up the market... like others, I could not read it (big block [x] characters). I took some screenshots, logged out, and after reviewing the images them I noticed that my UI was disabled. So I deleted the screenshots, and tried to log back in, only this time the Beta would not fire-up. I attempted to Repair, and the repair crashes (with an apple crash log) at the very end of it.
I right now I am reinstalling the Beta, though I wish I had read this thread a hair sooner. :P

I also looked in the preferences for the Beta Client and both the Local Version and Server Version say "0.0.0.0"
