As far as subscribing to the game after Freedom hits, I have no idea. I like playing all the characters restricted ATs (Masterminds, Controllers, and EATs) and I have a character that would work better in concept as a Demon/Time Mastermind rather than as a Demon/Poison Mastermind. Will wait until I know the differences between the Premium and VIP players such as exclusive ingame content and how Premium restricts my characters such as Inventions and Incarnate content.

Also, based on the number of questions about it in the discussion thead, at the beginning folks weren't certain whether transfer to the VIP server would be a standard server transfer or something new.

I'm a little worried. I do not own a credit card or an active paypal account(I'm a spendthrift, it's for my own protection :P), so I use Paysafecards to buy gametime. Would this still count as being subscribed and thus make me VIP?
My account page says "Subscription: None". I dearly hope this Freedom thingy does not remove my rights to the VIP content simply because I do not have an "official" recurring game plan even though I basically pay the same.
If you buy game time, that is a subscription. It's just a one-month (or however many), non-recurring subscription.

Nothing I've seen yet on number of costume slots and CC emotes. I think.
Speaking for myself I wouldn't think they would be limited. Right now additional costume slots are single missions and I would think a Free player would have access to the basic CC emotes with additional ones for sale in the store. Of course if as a Premium player you have bought booster packs with CC emotes I would expect them like the costume pieces and temp powers, to be available.

Premium players get
* 2 slots

[free slots] + [veteran status] + [purchased slots]; there is also 2 for buying GR, and 2 for having an account subscribed during Issue 12.
Free: 2 free (15 servers, 2 character slots max)
Premium: 2 free + 1/yr vet + 2 GR + 2 I12 + purchased (15 servers, 540 character slots max)
VIP: 12x16 (192) free + 1/yr vet + 2 GR + 2 I12 + purchased (16 servers, 576 character slots max)
**The 2 GR and 2 I12 slots are only applicable if you purchased GR before Freedom goes live, and/or had an active account during I12, respectively. Accounts may get one, both, or none of these slot options. Freeps don't get access to them because it requires a purchase prior to release or subscription prior to release, both of which mean it will be a Premie.
Additionally, both Preem and VIP are locked to 36 per server max, so your comment under VIP is unintentionally misleading.

Here's another situation:
- 1 account, 4 years subbed, 12 char's on 1 server.
- then this account unsubbed for 2 years.
- now returning with this account, still unsubbed but set with Freedom on it.
Still 12 char's on 1 server? (or globally)

As a result, my once 4 year subbed account with 12 slots will be reduced to a F2P account with 10 slots. I'll be happy if that's the case
Hopefully I'll keep most of my old characters.
(I only play on Union so it wouldn't make a difference to me if they were global or per-server)
