I was about to post Ironic's brightened pic, myself, but it seems like he beat me to it

However, I did a slight cheat which you can't see even there. The bottom uses a Pencil Skirt (obvious), as well as a combo of Stilettos/Matte and the Pants lower body texture. It looks really goofy if you can see it without the skirt, because it has the belt hoops, the button, the pockets and so forth, but since you can only ever see the knees on this costume, it looks like matte fabric that's part of the boots.

I may retcon this costume to use the Thigh High boots later on when we get that patch which allows female Steampunk jackets to be used with Sleeveless Jacket torsos, which will allow me to use the Witch long gloves.

I shall attempt most valiantly to make my point and adhere to the Teen rating at the same time...

(Deep breath... hold it... exhale...)

Okay...

I like the new Clunker aura with the trail effect. Very nice. I also greatly appreciate being able to use it on more violent characters as though they were leaving a "trail of blood" behind them by using the appropriate colors.

However...

I have a twisted mind... it's both a blessing and a curse that everything I see I tend to twist around to either humorous or macabre ends. I can't help it.

Since this game has a Teen rating I won't blurt out my ACTUAL first thoughts when I saw a Bass-Ackward's 4th picture on the 2nd page of this thread.

I WILL say, however, that she should only use that aura every 28 days.

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

That's really cool! Nicely done!

You're not alone. I tested the pack with a particular villain character I have--a survivor of horrible experiments with misguided cures for hemorrhagic fevers that left her with the ability to control and direct hemoglobin at will--both her own and others. So the drippy trail aura was a delight.

But when you see the heavy bleeding in action and the three points of emanation--not just the path it leaves behind, it's rather hard IMO for any adult with an informed knowledge of human biology to not "go there" even if momentarily.

To top it all off, this long existing villain of mine for whom the blood trail application seems made, is called Bloodlust.

I know.

On topic: I'll finally be getting access back to my game later this weekend or early next week. I've got some tweaks to several characters--none really steampunk per se--but all using bits from the new pack. I'll post a few montages when I can.

Well thank god, I'm not the only one who thought that.

The Clunker Trail aura is pretty cool. I've used it on three characters; admittedly I did have some of the above thoughts when it came to my Miss Skinless but it was pretty easy to get over it because of the whole no-skin thing. The Contaminated Man leaves a trail of purple...stuff behind him; where it comes from is probably best left a mystery. The Clockwork Rebel uses the Clunker aura as well as the trail; he's actually a collection of parts telekinetically held together by a personality fragment of the Clockwork King. The aura actually inspired him; I found myself wondering what could emit so many broken parts and still function, and immediately thought of the "mechanically impossible" Clockwork.

Thanks... I think I never really had a concept or an AT in mind for this costume, but I've been mulling it over for some time. I keep wondering if I can't make something useful out of it with other Vanguard weapons.

Double-Dealing Diva can't wait for her fourth costume slot:

And The Illumineer is all over this this like white on rice - she already has a hero costume or two, so it's time for some civvies:

I want to see data mining in regards to how often the 'Clunker' oil trail aura is colored black/gray vs how often it's colored something else

"FOOLS!" is a classic line, so it fits well with a classic villain!

What wonderful motivation!

Then again, there is a REASON they don't remember him...

they're FOOLS, you know??

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

I have a character for whom a blood-trail would be very appropriate as well. However on test I quickly saw that the aura in question was disgustingly similar to a trail of menstrual blood when colored red. Needless to say the alt in question isn't wearing that aura. Not least because he's male.... I think that the aura appearing to flow directly from the crotch area is unattractive, no matter what color the aura is. I dont want an aura that even remotely reminds me of certain bodily fluids or.... well. You get my drift. I think a flow from the wrists, elbows and knees only, with footprint-trail included would have solved the problem nicely without getting all biological about it.

I have a couple of characters who have the steampunk costume pieces.
Finally, I get to see Kaylee Dark's hair. She is one tight lipped woman when it comes to revealing anything about herself.

Anyway, here are her three current costumes.

Her primary costume.

Her demonic costume.

Her formal functions costume.

There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"

Slight repost:

I finalised Isabella's name, concept, appearance and powers, so I can now present her in full. First as her lovely human self:

And then as her TRUE self:

I still intend to swap to a sleeveless dress and use the Witch gloves when that becomes available, however.

Nah, the claws work just fine, Sam.

"Feeds on human emotion," does she? Well, if she routinely switches from human form to that in front of folks, she should have a Great Big Helping of "AAAAAAAAAAAAH, HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THAT?!?" whenever she wants it!
