Next Booster - Heavy Armor

So with the Steampunk Booster well and truely on its way is it now time for an Armor/Power Armor Booster?

Im talking about sets that look like (but are different enough to not enfringe upon copyright laws):
- Starcraft, Warhammer type Heavy Armor (Frakin' Huge)
- Anime Armor (slim-line)
- Medieval Armor (Chain Mail, Studded Leather, Banded Mail, Ceremonial Full Plate, etc)
- Force Fields (sphere's, body-contour outlines, cubes, rectangular prisms, etc)
- Helms, peripheral pieces, etc
This covers Tech, Science, Natural.

Id prob suggest that additional Organic Armor costumes be part of the "One With The Earth" Booster (which could cover Mutant, Magic, Natural)

Maybe add a heavy weapons power set too, that uses the IDF backpack rocket launchers, along with the underarm blasters used by the ACUs/BCUs ?

Well, some IS covered - especially anime in Tech Sleek, Overguard, Vanguard, etc. Medieval has... er... medieval, but a little more variety would be nice.

If they did force fields, I'd want it more with power customization for EA to look like the Praetorian PD - glows when hit.

Tech Sleek is lame IMHO (read above) - especially as a wait xx months Vet reward.

Over/Van/guard - well they are not really POWER ARMOR in the sense of the word.

And Medieval - yes more options - especially the Medieval skin that adds a large arrow just below the stomach pointing down...

Im sure there are a LOT of styles out there that people will want but to keep the amount of work (and cost to buy) reasonable there may need to be a Heavy Armor Booster and a Power Armor Booster, or Heavy/Power Armor Booster I and Heavy/Power Armor Booster II?

Remember a long time ago when the developers asked players which new powersets we wanted made, and Shield Defense won out? Energy Shields was one of the choices and the way I had envisioned it was pretty much how the PPD energy shields react to being hit. I wonder if anyone has that list, I can't remember what the other powerset choices were.

Energy Shields was my first choice, but Shield Defense was my close second. I'm glad we got Shield Defense, such an amazingly fun set; but I do wonder how Energy Shields would've done. I know we have Energy Aura now, but the way that set is made is more in line with Kinetic Armor, even with an Endurance Drain power.

The game has a lot of tech pieces.
And maybe one day we will get IDF so I think is covered more than other stuff.
Like medieval/fantasy.
Its a genere that has to be updated with a booster pack. It really lacks options.
Steampunk is technologic too. We had cyborg, and the GR costumes were tech too...
I think next booster should be:
Anime
Medieval

I'm hoping for some proper medieval fantasy stuff. High fantasy and low fantasy, doesn't matter to me. I wanted steampunk stuff and that's being put in. I've wanted more ninja/samurai stuff and those are in through Veteran Reward/Martial Arts pack. I'd still like some underwater/Atlantis stuff for our inevitable underwater zone.

We already have a lot of tech armor, with more on the way if we ever get those IDF pieces. These boosters need to cover niches haven't already been done. Give the players pieces to cover as many themes as possible.

I suggest we get some sort of Tribal/Egyptian pack next.

while i have made several suggestions, if we are still following the sorta timeline discussed with dave way back in the day, supernatural/gothic would be next on the list. no guarantees of course, but it would follow the pattern(if nobody does by the time i get home from work, ill link to it, heading out the door now)

A retouching on Medieval armor is overdo - as much as I love me some crotch arrows, the plate armor's just so dated, particularly when you compare it with the roman armor we've received from Cimerora or the Valkyrie pieces. While those pieces fill a niche, the lack of any sort of plate armor or medieval helmets since the game's release is glaring.

Here's a radical idea: next booster should be a bunch of free stuff!

I have two characters who can use a loin cloth: Barbarian Boy and Wonderbird, so I'd like to see that as part of a "Barbaric" set. Short loincloth, long loincloth, furry bikini, furry tank top (both sexes), tailored loincloth, ragged loincloth, etc.
