When Playing CoH
*gets on his knees and puckers up.*
Usually, what ever is on the Cape.
*Stands up quickly*
If I'm not listen to that, it depends on the mood and toon I'm playing and what the toon is doing.
But mostly Hard Rock and Ska Punk, or or movies/TV shows I put in my portable DVD player.
"God, please protect us from your followers. Amen." -Serge Storms
None. I'm one of those weird people who can't do things like read or play video games with music on in the background. I usually have the TV on, but it's always muted.
If I'm at a Cape event, I'll tune into the Cape, but if I'm running missions, I prefer silence.
(Sometimes, I wish there could be a Dev thumbs up button for quality posts, because you pretty much nailed it.) -- Ghost Falcon
I listen to Pandora. I have quite a number of channels. The one I listen to the most is my Ennio Morricone station.
If I am at a Cape event I too listen to the Cape.
Usually something instrumental, but not always. Game soundtracks usually.

I usually put the tv on.
Techno or Industrial.
"Your voice holds the key to your society
Expose the ones that want to **** it up for you and me
No more of settling for what they feed
The time has come to put the pressure up against the greed"

Orchestra. Pissed-off, angry as hell orchestra.
My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor
"Dark Armor is a complete waste as a tanking set."
It depends, usually industrial but sometimes I'll go with roots rock or a general mix of loud stuff from different genres.
I have a 3.5 floppy disk caddy, filled with mini-cd's that are basically character soundtracks. I stopped making those before extra character slots camer out (thank god). Though, honestly, I only stopped because it started getting annoying to find mini-CDR's in the store anymore
Interestingly enough, sometimes I'll listen to music that'll fit the character. For instance, I'll listen to things like the Kick-*** score if playing Golden Age or classic heroes, and things like the Red Dead Redemption score when playing western ones. Techno for my main Robot Ninja, etc.
Most of the time, though, I'll just listen to all sorts of rock, rap, and techno. Foo Fighters, Weezer, Dethklok, Arctic Monkeys, Daft Punk, Hot Hot Heat, and Duane and Brand0 are example groups.
Whatever has been stuck in my head all day, or I plan to subject people to that week :7

Neue Deutsche Harte, symphonic metal, classic rock, 30's big band and swing, blues rock, the few industrial rock bands that are actually good, electronica and video game soundtracks, up to and including a shitton of Touhou remixes (I am not a proud person). Not discounting anything else that sounds interesting. Never listened to The Cape much if at all, alas.
Almost always The Cape. If not that, then Houston Sports Talk Radio 610.
50 Claws/Regen Scrap, 50 Energy/Energy Blaster, 50 SS/Invuln Tanker, 50 Robot/Traps MasterMind, 50 Fire/Kin Controller, 50 Ninja/Ninja Stalker, 50 Elec/Shield Brute, 50 Elec/Time Controller
Usually whatever is on my playlist of the week/month from the epic mp3 collection of doom.
Its a safe bet that the most commonly played stuff on my last.FM are the things I listen to. http://www.last.fm/user/ransim
Combichrist, Terrorfakt, Ruoska, Caravan Palace, even some Lady Gaga, and Muse. I'm pretty unapologetic about what I listen to because I just like music. And occasionally online radio, I'm a Grooveshark subscriber/addict.
Right now, got a bit of J-pop on my Winamp, along with some power pop, some 70s bubblegum pop...some movie and tv soundtracks, a few electronic numbers and some game soundtracks...
Currently rebuilding my list from the disasterous move from one computer to another...hubby accidently deleted my music file in the move...
And sometimes, I listen to the Cape.

*blitzes into the thread and clotheslines Shecky for one final time (for the foreseeable future)*
Anything and everything. Mostly classic rock.
Ice/Ice Blaster. Dedication to concept is an ugly thing.
Claws/WP Brute. Sex without the angst.
Every CoX character lies somewhere on this spectrum.
I usually put on a Classic Rock station. While some of the modern music is ok, a lot of it is "too noisy" for me.
Live arcs: 517377 and 517381

Intel Core2Duo 2.4 Ghz 4 GB RAM**NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT set to 1280 x 1024**Windows Vista 32 bit
Metal, rock, punk, alternative, video game music, and movie music.
Naturally the Cape is where I get a lot of it, but sometimes I'll prefer my own library.
"The big four", Tool, Serj Tankian, In Flames, Disturbed, Ayreon, Dia Psalma, Clawfinger - and bands related to these on Spotify for more random stuff. Other than that, house/trance-type music from time to time.
OP and ED songs from Pretty Cure or Digimon, and a couple other anime. They are cheerful and energetic, and really put me in a great mood, especially if I can sing along (which, alas, is not too often now that I don't live alone).
Here is a playlist!
