I just signed up over there. Just wondering, how does it work? Do we just watch you guys onscreen, or is there some way to interact? (Please, take pity on me, I only got a cell phone 4 years ago, and a smartphone just last month.)

Hey Dave,
Signing up allows you to participate in the chat, found in the interface to the right of the video feed. And if you ask anyone who normally participates in the Ustreams we frequently converse with the chat box, making anyone who watches a recording think we're having one sided conversations.

Wait wait wait, the downtime tomorrow is 12 hours, and you're starting the coffee talk at hour six, and you're going to go until the servers come back up? This is going to be one epic coffee talk!
(As an aside, I had a ton of fun listening to last week's coffee talk on my Droid while sitting in the bank waiting to talk to someone. Too bad I couldn't chat, though. TheSpaceNut will be there tomorrow, although there's no way I'll make it for six hours if you guys really stay online that long!)

Pity I'm at Uni nearly all day. *sigh* I guess slapping it on the entirety of UK and EU daytime is the price we pay for....something?
Don't get me wrong, I'm optimistic for the merger and all. I just wish it didn't mean I get to play 0 hours tomorrow. While missing the UStream, which I'd quite like to ask questions in.
Even if Matt never answers me properly wuss.

We need to ask at the UStream for free server transfers till the devs give up and confirm we gonna have some.
Also... Fair enough to trade 1 day of game for the GSA... Even if I have my account name changed after nearly 4 years. Wish I could keep it or rename it to something new without EU of doom appended, but no big deal.
Europeans will keep signed and stigmatized forever no matter what!

I can't imagine how this negatively affects you besides not being able to play a couple hours. That others will get even more enjoyment out of this game should probably not be a consideration for you.
I guess since you pay, you have a right to tell everyone what to do. Since I have two accounts, I'll vote with both and say you should be ignored. Let me know if you have two accounts, I've been thinking about a third.

the game being down wont really affect me much, but i am disappointed ill be missing the ustream chat since the time frame it is set to occur is when i have 2 final exams scheduled lol
the previous ustream was the first ustream i watched, it was very neat i thought, i didnt make an account at the time though cause i wanted to see how it was done and everything lol

You know what I would love, a paragon time, or a coh time, or a game time.
Lets do away with all these different time zones and just have the one, with a quick feed we can have running on our desktops.
Everything can be quoted in game time then and we all know where we are in an instant.
